Nobody pays their attorney to draft a long form contract unless the term sheet was agreed to in principle. The long form contract is at the end of the process, not the beginning.

When Hearn offered Wilder $12.5 million, he never sent a long form contract either. Nobody sends a long form contract unless terms have been agreed to first.
