Hearn sent a contract without a date because he claimed he was still working on the date. Finkel was supposed to be vetting everything else in the meantime to speed up the process. When Finkel said, "we're ready to sign, what's the date?" Hearn said he'd tell him the date by the end of the week. The end of the week came and Hearn said they'd decided to do the Povetkin fight first and the Wilder fight could be April 2019.

So you can't say Wilder lost his pen because Wilder was never ever offered, in writing, a 2018 fight against Joshua. Only April 2019.

BT helped Haymon determine market value for the UK rights on the fight, lol.

DiBella wasn't going to show up in the UK and figure out how to sell the fight on Box Office; the rights would've been sold to Sky Sports at a price, and then Hearn/Joshua would've done what they could to make the rights as valuable in the UK as possible.

Anthony Joshua asked for $50m, and was shown that the $50m was there for him; agree to the money and then let's see if we can fill in the details.

Wilder was set to fight Joshua for $15m, agreed to the money, and yet didn't have word what the US TV was supposed to be, yet you're talking ****? lol.
