      Lineal doesn't mean undisputed.

Wlad was the man of his era and Fury took his throne.

perfectly reasonable due to his career. Not his fault Fury pulled out of the rematch.

Neither joshua or wilder fought anyone on that level before that point.
I get the WBA had him #1 challenger , The same org that had Tank fight Cueller for their strap . Cueller last
Fight was 18 months before a loss to Mares a division below Dietferent because Cueller has to move up and not havinG Klits accomplishments . Similar in both having a long layoff and both having lost their last fight. The Tank fight was viewed as a joke .With of the 2 reasons they share being a large contributing factor as to why.

Lineal should mean 1&2 in the division not 1&2 in some questionable decisions made by a sanctioning body.

I can’t see a way Klit who was inactive, lost his last fight hadnt won in 2 years.’would considered to be the #2 HW in the division when AJ fought him. even with his previous accomplishments. A fighter being out that long and the time since his previous win that fighter is usually removed from most rankings / let me know if you have any proof by a respected source having Klit as their #2 and I’ll gladly eat crow

AJ beating the best fighter of the old guard is great for his career and a great win. AJnsnatching a future HOF scalp is great for the resume right now and when you look at after he retirement. But can’t say is for the lineal

Wlad was NEVER undisputed and therefore never lineal. Did he ever get marketed as lineal champion?

Was he considered 'the man'? Yes, but only because Vitali retired. But the man and lineal are, or should be considered separate things IMO.

The true lineal champion will be decided between a fight between AJ and Wilder with all the recognised gold on the line. That's when a new lineage will start just like Marciano to Patterson.
Vitali was never an undisputed champion either. The undisputed "rule" was waived during the Klit bros reigns because it wasn't reasonable to expect brothers to fight each other.

After Vitali retired, Wlad was recognised as lineal champ by everybody who matters, and that's the only criterion ever used to establish any lineal champion. There is no such thing as a lineal title for anybody to fight for, so it's impossible to be 100% objective about who the lineal champion is.

Fury was never stripped of any title because of PEDs. He relinquished the WBO and WBA when he was declared medically unfit to fight.

Nobody could strip him of his lineal title, because lineal titles don't actually exist, though lineal champions do, which is a strange one!

He may have been the best heavyweight for a period of time but there is dispute that his brother (wbc champ) would've whooped his ass. Undisputed starts the line or there is no line.

It is what it is, if Joshua wants to be known as the best, he'll have to get in the ring and prove it by actually fighting one of the best men in the division, not fat bums like Miller and shot midgets like Povetkin.
Pretty hard to fight your hero basketball player Wildswing when you're begging him to fight you (Deontay's own word) and he simply ignores the khone and e mails. He's been offered way more than he deserves but as everyone has seen he's a ducker - he doesn't want it.

Not you gain denium....you disapeared for 2 years when yiur hero got popped for peds came back for 2 bums and then faced off with most unskillful usa champion i can remember.....boxed well but was knocked down 2 times the last one he was actaully dreaming of gear and cream cakes ...woke up at 9.9 got a draw and then basically (even though i don't like wilder) has run away as quickly as he can and now is tied up with espn and zero title chances in the future and who exactly is fury going to fight ? Parker ?
Fury has gone the safe route and signed up to a Deal that pretty much excludes him getting a shot at AJ or a rematch with wilder.
Fury has lost his nerve in facing wilder again thats the bottom line.
He could of boxed wilder beat him for the title and then had mega summer stadium fight with joshua for the undisputed heavyweight title.
                      Fury has bottled it
