On a real note. GGG and Abel are bad for each other. Knowing Abel, whom likes to be in the limelight, is urging GGG to make a decision since long layoffs aren’t always a good thing. Though, sometimes it’s vital after a really hard fight. Khan took a long time off because of this, and GGG never took damage like hay ever before. He did against Ouma, but he was a young gun back then so he could recoup easier, and Ouma doesn’t have Canelo power.

GGG should just take the PBC offer, and Abel should stop worrying about Charlo. Abel flat out said that Charlo never deserved a shot, well times have changed, and as we can see, GGG fans want the Charlo fight. I believe GGG will fight anybody, but surely he is no dummy seeing the size of Charlo today at 160. He bigger than Jacobs.

And we are now just 13 days away from March and he still hasn't signed with a Network, still doesn't have a fight date and his own trainer says he hasn't been in the gym. He was supposed to be back in the ring March or April that's what Loeffler said back in Sept/Oct. If he fights any later then June he won't have enough time to be back by Sept and would be taking himself out of the running for Canelo/Jacobs winner. Clock is ticking the longer this goes on the more likely he really might just retire or a take a year off.

GGG was in a good spot. Though GGG knew what he was doing with trolling to Loeffler and Abel’s advisory about Mexican style, I’m more than sure he never liked that. He always looked nervous in interviews later in his career because he was advised to act that way. I mean seriously, a Kazakh Man acting like this? GGG probably knew he lowered his self esteem because of all that.

He made a massive payday and has the luxury to rest a bit and most likely is needed as well. With that reason can also take time to recoup from that hard fight and enjoy a bit of family life. Most people didn’t know Adonis would end up the way he did even though he ate those hard shots down the middle and yet still standing. Canelo is an accurate puncher, and accumulative punches from him at this stage of his career shouldn’t be taken lightly.

The truth is fans forget that boxers have to go through their usual brains scans after a fight. It might be that the neurologist advised him to take some time off. We can’t fault him for that. Even just a minor notice of random slurred speech or disorientation from focus will have a boxer thinking about damage to the head. People with whiplash in car accidents or accidentally hitting their head hard on a hard surface will experience these things, and yet boxers endure this their whole life. We want GGG to be in his best shape coming back.

Let’s give GGG benefit of doubt that the Canelo series character is long gone. Abel should just let the Kazakh be himself. Personally I think Loeffler and Abel downgrades his aura because of their own characters in the scene.

I’m glad you posted your list of fighters that you seemed to have saved on your computer and show anytime Canelos victory is questioned and large # of those opinions shouldnt be considered for a variety of reasons like they arte either a shareholder or fighter under Golden Boy ( Bernard, Mungia ) boss beat Canelo ( Badou, Newman , Mayweathers ) so it makes Mayweather look better , Have aspirations of fighting Canelo in the Future ( Spence , Plant , Charlos ) previous Golovkin victims who got stomped out or were too b.itch made to fight Golovkin ( Lemieux , Rosado , Stevens , Quillen ) and probably a variety of other reasons if you thought about it why their opinion would go with Canelo not because they thought he won but because it’s better for their career to say he did. Obviously some people thought Canelo won but I’m sure you could find just as many and probably more people involved in the sport who thought Golovkin won but you wouldn’t take the effort because that would make you seem reasonable and wouldnt allow you to type your Propaganda.

So she gave at least a 3 extra rounds then his own promoter or almost anyone else who watched the sport who believe Canelo won and if you go off what almost everyone acknowledges that Golovkin won at least 7 but probably 8 rounds then she was off by 5-6 rounds so either shes incompetent and can’t score a fight or had it made up who would win before the fight started. But even she had to give Golovkin the 7th round because there’s no way to come up with explanation to give Canelo that round and I’ve yet to see anyone in the sport give Canelo that round except the one Judge who ruled the fight a draw. Which would make you believe that being the only person in the World who gave Canelo that round would have you believe that he either tried to keep the cards close when it appeared Golovkin was taking over by giving Canelo undeserved rounds , doesn’t know how to score a round when it’s obvious to literally everyone else who won that round , was watching a different fight or whos integrity at least should be questioned because he wasn’t scoring the fight how it was. Take your pick. But those 2 judges and their decisions on how they scored the fight made it clear that the sport isn’t played or judged on a level playing field

This type of f.uckery couldn’t happen again in the rematch and the sport still try and keep its integrity

But from a list of media and boxers scoring the fight . 40 had it for Golovkin , 17 had it a draw and 2 had it for Canelo. A whopping 3% had Canelo deserving the win with 2/3 thinking Golovkin should have won and almost half thought he won 8 rounds. But all the judges in the fight gave Canelo 6 of the first 9 rounds with 1 giving him 6 of the first 8. Common belief among everyone is that after 9 rounds Most had Golovkin with 5 rounds some had him with 6 and a few had Canelo with 5 rounds. Yet all 3 judges had Canelo winning 6 at that point. So according to almost everyone the Judges are at least 1 round probably 2 rounds off of how everyone saw the fight and after 9 rounds Canelo was guaranteed at least a draw according to the judges and almost no one else and all he needed was 1 more round which he got by 2 judges in the 12 , a round few gave to Canelo who scored the fight . Yes not suspicious at all with Canelo securing a draw by the 9th and getting the 12th very convenient the way it happend giving the benefit with Canelo having enough of the early rounds banked needinfg only 1 round to get the W . I’m Sure the Judges were among the 3% who rightfully had the fight for Canelo and the other 97% of people watching the sport don’t know what their watching

No favourable judging or giving Canelo every break and opportunity to get the W or at least a draw. Just good old fashioned fair representation of the fight and just like how 3% who actually

Spin the judging how you see fit and earn your cheque and explain how the Deck wasn’t stacked against Golovkin in both fights and Canelo as usual caught all the breaks and favourable cards and giving him the best chance to win but him being the cash cow has no reason or effect on why the outcomes turned out the way they did and he deserved the decision he got and the 3% who saw it that way and are the only people who know the sport

the underrated angle in a "retirement theory" might be his age....not just the number age....or even the wear and tear.....because at his age athletes can still perform well.....and by golovkins fans accounts he doesnt have the wear and tear alot of guys his age have had

but.....its what it takes to get there

take other sports for example...obviously baseball isnt overall as physically demanding...but take david ortiz for instance....his final year...he was 40...he hit .315 with 38 hrs and 130 rbi which is a GREAT year at any age.....its an MVP caliber year.....it suggested he can still hit with the best of them.....but he got tired of putting in the work it took to get there....the diet...staying lean....hours and hours and hours every week/day in the batting cage to stay sharp...the grind of the 162 game season and traveling

take a look at rob gronkowski....obviously a more physically demanding sport than baseball.....he still relatively young...but he has wear and tear on his body and has had many different injuries.....he could come back...but does he want to? the diet..the time in the weight room....the grueling hot training camp....the practices.....getting up early for treatments and meetings.....does he still have the desire? were gonna find out

the same might be true with golovkin....i think he fights again...but you dont know if this guy is thinking he doesnt wanna get up early and do the roadwork.....the gym sessions....the dieting......he might be over it...you saw floyd get burnout from it.....i think golovkin will fight again but you just never know whats going through some of these guys minds

It's one thing to tell your fighter you are losing just to spark a fire in the heat of the battle even if you don't believe it. But that's not what happened Sanchez was in panic mode all fight then doubled down hours after the fight when he had no motive. And Sanchez himself admitted he didn't think GGG won the fight. Keep spinning trying to make excuses for why GGG refused to fight Mexican Style. Why GGG got walked down and his face broken. Why GGG refused to stand and talk to Max after the fight something he would of had no problem doing if he really thought he won but he ran because he knew what the first question was going to be.
