With the new baby, Loeffler not really in the picture anymore, his ongoing lawsuit, I'm sure there's enough going on that's making a decision not such a simple task.

Is Golovkin retiring???

I have read multiple different writers saying the plan is to have him fight in May and then in September vs Canelo... I wonder if that is still the plan.

I think he has agreed to a deal with DAZN. I think they are just waiting to make sure he has an opponent and a date to announce it.

He ain't been the same since Canelo physically and mentally broke him. Canelo took his belts, his balls and his soul. lol Took every excuse GGG made from the first fight for why he looked bad and flipped it on his head. You remember GGG only looked bad because Canelo ran and wouldn't fight Mexican Style? He cried and begged for Canelo to stand and fight him Mexican Style. Well Canelo brought Mexican Style and where was GGG for the Mexican Style fight? GGG tapped out. Backed up, got his face broken and his own trainer told him to his face stop doing that you are losing the fight then his own trainer spent hours after the fight doing dozens of interviews saying GGG didn't win the fight and praised Canelo. GGG knew he lost that's why he pulled a broner running out the ring. lol
Canelo not only beat the Mexican Style out of him but beat him so bad he forgot how to speak English showed up at the press conference like a rape victim needing a translator to do all the talking then immediately fell off the face of the earth. He took himself out of the running for a Canelo fight in May. And we are now just 13 days away from March and he still hasn't signed with a Network, still doesn't have a fight date and his own trainer says he hasn't been in the gym. He was supposed to be back in the ring March or April that's what Loeffler said back in Sept/Oct. If he fights any later then June he won't have enough time to be back by Sept and would be taking himself out of the running for Canelo/Jacobs winner. Clock is ticking the longer this goes on the more likely he really might just retire or a take a year off.

Yes Canelo mentally and Physically broke Golovkin in fights that a overwhelming majority of fans / media saw him winning both times
That makes sense
I’m sure if he is pissed off for any reason it’s that he realizes the sport rewards fighters far too often for their marketing ability and cash they can produce and will quickly turn the cheek even and forgive a fighter that is a money earner even if they pop dirty and results are not always awarded to those from what necessarily transpires in the ring but given to the fighter who can produce the most revenue for the sport
Even a Golden Boy employee such as yourself has to admit the scorecards in the first fight scream corruption or at the very least incompetence and the second fight the scorecards also can be questionedLast edited by R_Walken; 02-15-2019, 11:47 AM.

The overwhelming majority of fighters, trainers thought canelo won including the judges who actually know how to score fights. Including the ONLY judge that thought GGG won the first fight. Even he thought Canelo won. I take these guys words over fanboy media who don't know shyt about boxing. But that's all you got because everyone else admits Canelo won.
And did I mention GGG own trainer Able Sanchez didn't think GGG won I know that burns you LMAO

GGG is probably spending time with his wife and children. The man has definitely earned that right to take it easy before his next fight.
