Your trolling! Lol! Showtime will fail, but PBC will not! I think we can agree with that! If anything PBC will go all out with FOX now that UFC left FOX for ESPN! FOX needs combat sport content that’s where PBC comes in place! Showtime can stick with TV series and documentaries!
Is Showtime heading the HBO way?

How much exposure did Showtime make to casual combat sports fans when Mayweather beat McGregor?
Guess which network hosted that in the eyes of UFC purists? That mindset alone has UFC fans know that Showtime is the premier network to see an elite boxer beat an elite MMA fighter. Prize fighting on TV predates the evolution of MMA.Comment

Showtime has always played second fiddle to HBO and to some degree even the boxers signed to them have ...jimmy Lennon Jnr was always a weak substitute to Michael buffer as well....I think showtime are gradually on there way out !!!Comment

They fit more of their fighters on each card. Plus boxers fight or at least should be fighting more often.
I was correcting his point that
There is no ppv money anymore for showtime. Mayweather retired .Comment

The boxing business is far bigger than you seem to comprehend especially with a giant common pool of talent and the en****** working together.
FOX/FS1 is getting 22 live events, largely featuring good fights, with top content/talent for their support programming, while also getting a taste of the PPV to boot, with similar/better ratings than what they'd been spending with the UFC.
Charlo brothers, Thurman, Porter-Ugas in March, Danny-Granados in April, but the audience is also getting to see Joey Spencer, Efe Ajagba, Caleb Plant and Jose Uzcategui, Omar Figueroa, Leo Santa Cruz, etc.
Showtime has Pacquiao (and will likely get Thurman-Pacquiao too), Showtime has Wilder-Fury 2 (and will likely get the US rights on the eventual Wilder-Joshua fight too, and be Wilder's PPV partner), Showtime will get the international cards worth watching, and Showtime also has aggressively pushed their ShoBox platform ("Boots"/Haney/Shields leading the way). And Showtime will still get a dozen events per year (headlined by fighters like Gervonta Davis, Gary Russell Jr, Broner's eventual return, and other events).
Between Showtime/SHOPPV and FOX/FS1/FOXPPV, we're talking about 50+ events; at least 5-6 Saturdays where fight fans can enjoy a full evening/night of good fights.Comment

PBC can do the same with FOX or Showtime stack the cards! No need for Tuneups as main events! That’s one of the main reason UFC is popular the best fight the best!Comment

More boxing the better but the question is boxing on showtime is being lead to fail with weak cards and low ratings! When was the last time showtime hit the 1 million views! Their is female soccer college games due better views than Shobox or weak Showtime cards! Fox is doing great but showtime not so well! The boxing business is far bigger than you seem to comprehend especially with a giant common pool of talent and the en****** working together.
