GGG went on the road and fought his whole career. Never actually lost and KOd/clearly beat about 20 good to great fighters with 0 controversy.

Ward literally has 1 good non-controversial win - over Froch. One clear loss to Kov in fight 1 and then his next 6 wins or so are all mired in controversy. I know the truth hurts man but this is the truth. Just how it is. There are other good black fighters to support though and you should throw your weight behind them if you want.

Anyone comparing Ward (protected/fought at home/dubious decisions/no KOs/blatant rules abuser) to GGG (fought always away from home/KOs/clear wins/beautiful clean boxing) is either biased trolling or not intelligent.

Really good/good fighters - Vanes, Brook, Lemieux, Monroe, Rubio, Geale, Adama, Stevens, Macklin, Ishida, Rosado, Proksa, Ouma.

16 guys, 17 fights. All wins. All guys in their prime more or less. KO in 14 of the 17 fights. Just a very impressive resume to anyone who is an objective boxing analyst and not someone looking to hate on a fighter.

If there was anything exceptional about Ward's resume I would give him props for it. But when you analyze his career it is obvious he just wasn't a great boxer.

I am not a huge Floyd fan but I give him a lot of credit. He was an incredibly talented boxer and in his younger/lower weight days he was a bad man. As he moved up he became 'Money' and started to pick the highest reward/lowest risk fights. But he still fought some good fighters even if not in their prime. And he has a very impressive resume all around. Not a ton of controversy with his decision wins even though he had a ton of them.

Anyway God Bless man hope you do some real research on Ward and GGG and start to see the light

I understand what you're saying, but fear can have one of two effects fight or flight. You can't say with 100% certainty that Kovalev will go down the "flight" path. Not calling out a guy that's retired and hasn't stepped in the ring since summer 2017 doesn't really mean much at least to me. Don't get me wrong, Ward is the real deal, but to me he's at the level of a Bernard Hopkins so not an all time great of some one in a generation phenom.

he marked himself as special when he walked to the ring to face Kessler..... he drew the hot favorite and divisional kingpin when he was not much more than a rookie..... I don't think I have ever seen anyone look so calm relaxed and confident heading into a sudden death career-defining matchup like that, than Ward did during his ringwalk
