Skipper is a business man, not a boxing man. Hearn is also a business man, but he has been involved in boxing since he was a schoolboy.
Hearn can talk to fighters and their teams about fights, not just money. He knows more about the sport than Skipper will ever know, and has built both business and personal relationships with other boxing people - fighters, managers, trainers, promoters, etc all over the world.
And for sure, he wouldn't be where he is right now if he couldn't close deals without Skipper holding his hand.Comment

Maybe on the slide but I have yet to see him lose. I think he won both canelo fights. Canelo was showier and flashier and had the hometown crowd reacting to every punch even if GGG blocked it. It looks more impressive to slip than block. That's just the way it is. Also, GGG doesn't get enough credit for his jab because like Foreman, like Hagler, his jab is a "power punch."Comment

No clue, but he would be getting 8 figures for it which is insane. And still something I don't understand why PBC would do. I mean eventually it leads to the Charlo fight. But even if Charlo wins, is he going to become a SUPERSTAR? Doubt it. I mean it certainly helps his "profile" per se, but they will be taking big losses with this signing.
Would like to see GGG vs Korobov though. That would be fun.Comment

I think it could be Andrade. Hearn shot off to Puerto Rico a couple of weeks ago and lo and behold Golovkin shot up to no2 in their rankings in the latest updates, despite being unranked for months before. No clue, but he would be getting 8 figures for it which is insane. Last Warren interview he was asked about the WBO mandating Andrade vs Saunders, in the interview he Warren said he would prefer to have a fight inbetween. Same day as all this **** happens Martin Murray says hes coming out of retirement, which would be an obvious fight for Saunders to have, go look at his facebook page.
So maybe Saunders gunna sit on his WBO mandatory for a shot at undisputed. But my preference has been the whole time Smith vs GolovkinComment

I feel many are too focused with Golovkin at 160. I would imagine PBC would create fights for Golovkin at 168 with Plant, Benavidez? One would imagine that the WBC would kindly work with Haymon for Benavidez' Diamond Belt status return and the opportunity for Golovkin to fight for it. With such a long layoff, and Gennady knowing Benavidez in sparring. I think Golovkin has easy opportunities for that fight and against Plant. So Golovkin can become a 2 division Champion under PBC which would drastically improve his legacy. There are also rumors of Charlo moving to 168 if he had problems making weight at 160. Lots of great fights for Golovkin at PBC.Comment
