Ball is in Wilder's court now. It's not Hearn's job to make Wilder's fights. He doesn't need to keep making offers. You can't just say "no", you're supposed to come back with something else.

wilder's team offered joshua 50 million dollars AND a split. the fight was to be in las vegas, on US ppv and US timezone, and this year. hearn did not accept the terms. what he did was act like the offer wasn't real, something his father later refuted. he admitted that the fight generates more money here. his reasoning was that he didn't want to make the fight in the united states because of joshua's fans.

that offere was not deisgned to get a dialogue going. hearn went on to TRASH wilder and the fight. just admit that hearn wanted the fight a hell of a lot less than wilder's people, and that hearn benefitted the most from the fight not taking place in 2018.

So whatever split Joseph Parker got...Wilder merits a much higher one.
Oh ok. So do tell, what did Showtime say the numbers were? Because all we heard were rumors about 325k. Showtime never came out with the numbers which usually means it did crappy. Also, what Parker made, has nothing to do with how much Wilder should get. AJ got one more belt since then idiot so he gets an even higher split.

What are you talking about? Sky doesn't release their numbers either. Those are estimates from the Broadcasters' Audience Research Board. In America we use Nielsen but outside of that it's the exact same situation.

Wilder has stepped up and found fighting at the higher level not so easy, but at the same time finally gained some respect. This is why Whyte is proving so popular as he has continued to fight good HW's. You do not always need to be the best to be popular, just fight people who have a chance of beating you. AJ has fought to unify the titles and or the next best available, Fury was not really back in the scene and they could not get the Wilder fight. The Fury Wilder rematch has done AJ a favour and taken the heat off him as they will both not be available to fight. Hence if the Wilder fight does not come off as we all think, Whyte has earned his shot and the UK fan base is Ok with that: Wilder has a good payday with Fury in a rematch, but Wilder will want it in the USA to get all the advantages he can. However fighting AJ now makes sense while the money will be at its highest. If Wilder loses to Fury then he really will lose the big offers to fight AJ. The Fury rematch will always be there and if Fury then beats AJ (after AJ say beats Wilder) there is even a bigger rematch with Wilder v Fury. If Wilder cannot wait for Fury as he wants it in the summer and in the UK, then fighting Breazeale his mandatory while waiting for Fury does not make sense. He will have to fight Breazeale a low risk (though a big angry heavy weight who does not like him and no size advantage for Wilder) and gain no respect as AJ beat him up. Then fight a better prepared Fury in the summer, further delaying the AJ fight and risking a loss. If AJ loses Wilder again misses the big payday. AJ will get a rematch against who ever beat him. The sanctioning bodies may try to demand mandatory's being made to break up the titles but that big fight will have gone. They will all have to regroup and get wins and reclaim belts to build things up, while the next generation of good heavies starts coming up. This is Wilders time, make the big fight with AJ, then the AJ rematch then Fury rematch then retire a very rich man, as will Fury and AJ. They might be the top three but when you fight the next tier down there is always a risk they could lose.

OK, i think my New Years resolution is to stop debating with Wilder fans. I will see you ****ing ******s late next year when Wilder gets KOed or beat. And he will never get the AJ pay day after that so good luck with Breazeale and the Fury rematch because one of them will beat him. Wilder fans are worse than Canelo fans and there is no logic within their little **** for brains. So go ahead and defend your idol while he ducks AJ. You will only be that much more hurt when he gets smashed by an actual boxer. He's ducking, now he's begging, Wilder is a pathetic, bum beating fraud who will NEVER step up and unify. I am a black American boxing fan and I can honestly say that he embarrasses all black folks every time he opens his ****ing mouth. He's an idiot, and his fans are bigger idiots for following him

I often wonder just how quick Lennox would have had Joshua out of there .Would it be a one round blow out or would Joshua have taken a beating in to the mid rounds ....any thoughts?

              No crazy reply's please.

Looks like Lennox has a self-image problem. He cannot say anything these days without bringing Holyfield into it just to look good.

Or, is it that Boxing Scene keeps recycling Lennox's comment

Now that you have your link, what is your next excuse
Dude this is from October 8th. He still had a title defense against fury looming. Do you really think he was going to negotiate with such a big fight looming?

Reading all these post makes realize people want to believe what they want . For instance one idiot posted wilder only made 4 million against fury so therefore he should the flat fee offer from AJ. Wrong . He was guaranteed 4 million but’s made close to 15 million after all revenues were in. Another thing people brag about is how Aj is a PPV star in England and while wilder has been in one PPV. Here is the difference. In the UK how much is your PPV ? $19.99 ? So of course people will buy that but here in the U.S we don’t whore out PPV. They usually start at $75.99 . That’s a big difference. Last thing, as I have posted on here many times can anyone tell me another fighter that took a flat fee for a fight of this magnitude? Nope therefore it doesn’t matter if your A side or not . A split is fair.
