Hearn already said the offer before he fury fight, which they (wilders team) refused to respond to due to their upcoming fight was a 35% of guaranteed figure.
Therefore I’m not really sure where this stuff is heading but clearly round the same circles for something that now appears quite irrelevant.

Was the offer for 35%? Has a second offer or counter offer been sent since after the fight?

listen, anyone still saying it has to be a split is an idiot and is just being blinded by fanboyism. Wilder was offered a split way back in october. it's really simple.
wilder has said he doesn't want to fight Joshua. end of story.

You said earlier this is a bigger fight and I agree but You must think aj is a massive star if you think his inclusion will generate that much more to the extent that 15 million is a disgusting amount in comparison.
I’m not using anything as an excuse. I’ve already said I’ve no issue with a split and one has since been offered. You just either need to admit the offer wasn’t that bad or he made a *****ty amount against fury and he needs aj to make proper money.

It’s either that or you just have to accept the flat fee offer wasn’t that bad and actually extremly generous because let’s be honest against any other fighter bar fury that fight would not have sold as many ppvs. Say he fought Ortiz on ppv instead, based on what he made against fury I’d say he would make 10m max.

I am saying NO such thing.....
I am saying..... learn the sport
1) Wilders purse for Fury has no bearing whatsoever on what he should be paid for fighting Joshua
2) Wilders purses EVER, have no bearing whatsoever on what he should be paid for fighting Joshua
3) btw, Wilder got 50% for Fury
the ONLY relevant factor is..... what that fight will generate, and how much Wilder brings to the table..... so, come on
Hearn slipped up and recently admitted that.....
"At the moment I think a split of 65-35 in AJ’s favor is fair"
https://www.boxingscene.com/hearn-if...-50-50--133005
so....
1) any previous flat-fee offer..... was rubbish
2) it is clearly obvious, and has been for quite some time, that Wilder is worth somewhere between 35-40%..... so the ONLY relevant question is.....
Q. why haven't they offered Wilder between 35-40% ?
A. they offered Joseph Parker 32.5% because they ACTUALLY wanted to fight Joseph Parker

A 60/40 purse split in favor of Anthony Joshua is both reasonable and fair. Wilder has definitely earned it with his two back to back to fights with both Luis Ortiz and Tyson Fury.

Lennox is echoing how mostly everyone feels about purse splits between two titlists except Joshua's fans. Some how Joshua's fans think that Joshua is the actual hvw champion, lmao.
