Al Haymon would be a fool to have Wilder take 40% in a fight with Joshua. Lennox keeps pointing this out yet some fans here think that Wilder still deserves only a flat fee. Foh lmao.

A. they offered Joseph Parker 32.5% because they ACTUALLY wanted to fight Joseph Parker
If they both earned nothing to this point= irrelevant
If Wilder earned £50m per fight =irrelevant
It's what TOGETHER they put in the pot and given a slight pull AJ has more titles so 60-65% is very fair for Joshua .
As you say Parker got 32.5% because they wanted the fight .
I'M a Englishman who is so disappointed with Joshua's actions that I find it difficult to watch him interviewed these day's.

the point is, he probably doesn't deserve 40% based on numbers.... but he should make around 35% - 40% based on the fact that fight will be HUGE and Joshua's biggest payday by far..... just like how Pacquiao got 40% with Mayweather

Joshua has three of the four major belts and Wilder only has one. For a full undisputed unification, it's hard to imagine the champion with three belts taking less than 60%.
Lennox Lewis only got 33% in the first Holyfield fight. Holyfield had the other two recognized belts and therefore had the leverage.
Joshua definitely has more leverage than Wilder and Joshua deserves the larger purse.Comment

Joshua doesn't deserve ****. He purchased his titles through cowardice and a promoter who has more interest in making money than legacy. Wilder and Joshua aren't fighting anytime soon alt. Blame that on Joshua as well. And Joshua isn't the champion alt. He can have 30 bogus titles and he will still be labeled a ****en stiff stoic coward.Comment
