He's a dangerous puncher with skills but his feet get slower every fight. He's good enough to hurt anyone in the division but too old to catch up and finish them.

The structure of the HW division is three elite fighters: Wilder, Fury, Joshua.

Then a second tier of guys who are a level below the elites but pretty good fighters: Whyte, Povetkin, Miller, Ortiz, Pulev, Kownacki, Parker, Breazeale, Chisora, etc. These guys could beat any of the other second tiers on any given night but would probably never beat any of the Big Three..
Parker, chisora and Whyte are more than a few levels below the elites.

You took offence to Parker, Chisora and Whyte but not Miller, Kownacki and Breazeale?

You're forgetting Povetkin. That would be a good fight

            Top tier: Joshua, Fury, Wilder

            Second Tier: Povetkin, Whyte, Ortiz

            Third tier: Parker, Pulev, Miller

That is the Heavyweight division right now

Some people get sold on hype, they don’t even need to prove it in the ring. The “No one wants to fight him” is the easiest excuse that boxing fans always throw out. They did with Margarito and they did with GGG. If you are not an attractive opponent that brings something to the table then some boxers might not want to give you a chance unless you are a mandatory. Ortiz is good technically but it would be nice to see him against then other guys at HW.

He must've had something about him, he was Sonny Liston's sparring partner

Not really but Ortiz vs White would be fireworks!

Yes! He must be that is why he is being consistently avoided and ducked. Anthony Joshua shouldn't allow Wilder to show him up. He should challenge him also. As a matter of fact, if I was him, I will make Luis Ortiz my next title defense if there is no Wilder undisputed bout.
