The only things dumb are your assumptions that I am a Wilder fan and that Whyte and Chisora are big PPV stars. Yes, they have fought on PPV before but that's due to the over saturation of the PPV market.
Neither of these two would have been near a PPV event ten years ago. That was for the elite fighters fighting for genuine world titles.

All of the key details were included in the 50 million offer. There was nothing to meet about if AJ wasn't willing to agree in principle to 50 million pending further details. You don't meet to discuss the color of the ring posts if the purse has been rejected.

It woul appear key details such as Warrens involvement were left out, this could have cost AJ millions to pay of Sky diminishing that 50 mil massively.

Why was the meeting booked in the first place if there was no point?

Plenty things, to meet about AJ and Hearn state their interest and requested further details and a meeting. No one agree's to multi-million dollar deals without seeing all the details, if thats the way you do business you're an idiot and you're going to get ripped of. Even if it was specificly Hearns policy to meet with fighters to get deals done he did it for fights like Usyk Bellew and AJ Klitschko, if you want the actually fight made you'd have to take the meeting.

Wilder then accepted a flat fee to go to the UK. Doesn't get any more desperate than that, but Hearn still refused to do the fight next.

Actions speak louder than words no point in saying you accept without signing and then complaining about stuff missing after waiting till the mando was announced.

I've listened to that interview many times. You must have missed the part where Hearn says he's been negotiating with Haymon and Finkel for weeks, negotiations are going well, he asked a bunch of questions about the 50 million offer, the questions were answered to his satisfaction, etc.

He explained why he initially was skeptical about the 50 million offer and the reason he was skeptical is because the offer intially came directly from Deontay.

But he clearly explains in that interview that the offer ended up being real and that he's been discussing it with Haymon and Finkel. That he never bothered asking for proof of funds because he knows they're legit and that Showtime would put up the money.

Because it isn't fair to ask someone to come fight in the UK when the fight is worth two to three times as much in the US. It isn't fair to ask someone to fight on DAZN when the fight is worth two to three times as much on PPV.

If Fury decides he wants to fight in the U.K. , can anyone blame him? He has proved himself and now he wants to fight at home. Irrespective of money generated in Las Vegas . If Fury digs his heels in and says U.K. or no fight , what do you think Wilder will do? How would the Wilderlites feel if Wilder goes in another direction? Furthermore where will he go?
