When Hearn complained about the possibility of BT when the offer was first made, Finkel said publicly and privately there was no issue with the fight being on Sky as long as Sky made a fair offer.

Whereas Hearn's 15 million offer meant the fight would be on DAZN even if Showtime was offering more.

Hearn says they had the money and the intention to do it.

For instance, for Mayweather-Pacquiao, the providers only got 25%, not 50%. Haymon has a ton of leverage with the PPV industry right now as they are absolutely desperate, which is why Haymon is suddenly doing more PPVs. Wilder & Fury would get at least 65%, if not more. But 65% is a reasonable estimate. So that's 30 million.

I agree on probably 10 million site fee from Vegas, so that's 40 million. But then you still have UK PPV, that's another 8-10 million depending on the provider split. International TV, sponsorships, etc. The pot likely breaks 50 million.
You are pulling numbers out of your arse trying to work it to your number.

See that's not a guarantee. We've seen team Wilders opinion of fair offers and they're ridiculous. That Finkel quote leaves the possibility it wouldn't be on SKY. They were negotiating with BT. Your claims make no sense.

            Thank you for your opinion.

I am offering numbers based on years of working on PPVs and recent conversations with those involved in putting together PPVs for Showtime.

I'm aware that you're an inexperienced and unknowledgeable teenager and you prefer to pretend I don't know what I'm talking about. That's fine. I'm proven right over and over, so I enjoy you being proven wrong over time. I was right about the first PPV, you were wrong, and I'll be proven right about the rematch.

If Sky and Wilder's team weren't able to make a deal and the fight fell apart over it, so be it. But that's not what happened. Hearn admitted Joshua simply didn't want to fight in the US, regardless of the money, regardless of the broadcaster. So to blame the broadcasting situation is ludicrous. Finkel and Hearn had been working on the Sky numbers and it was looking like everything would be worked out no problem. The only problem, which Hearn admitted, was that Joshua simply didn't want to leave the UK, and obviously, as the A-side, nobody was going to force him.

Because Haymon and Showtime have financed all of the biggest fights in history?!? Absolutely idiotic to suggest they'd make an offer they couldn't back up.

Nobody believes you. No matter how much you claim to work in the sport little man. You always fall back to this lame **** when losing an argument.

Or so it would have to be faith? You were talking like it was fact. So as i said you have no proof of anything.
