I get your point, and viewers mean something.

But I remember a time not too long ago when HBO would destroy Showtime week-in and week-out when it came to viewers. But we all said they were failing...because they were failing...because we knew the number of viewers should be analyzed in the context of a platform's size, its other programming and its potential for growth.

If Fox loses 75% of its viewers every time boxing comes on, that's a massive failure, despite the total number dwarfing DAZN or whomever else.

It’s silly to assume Fox will continually lose a significant amount of viewership over the four years. But yes, in this unlikely scenario, sure.

Fox doesn't put cards on Oct and Nov. DEC-SEP is their months. SHO should be every month from here on out.

This is a thread about who will have the most boxing viewers now that HBO has exited the business. I couldn't reply to Eff Pandas because he has me blocked, so I had to put my reply in a new thread. This isn't a thread about which channel has the boxing you or I enjoy the most. Simply a question of which will have the most people watching their boxing telecasts.

1. I can't agree as a DAZN user. They are the only one's consistently showing international talent and also exclusively show the World Boxing Super Series. They do a good job of providing non-fight content like interviews as well.

Nobody cares about the WBSS or international talent. I mean, you care. I care. Boxing nerds care. But in the grand scheme of things, nobody cares. Millions of people will be watching every FOX broadcast. Some of these WBSS shows on DAZN are doing less than 5,000 viewers. It's apples and oranges man.

It actually does automatically translate to viewership. These PBC on FOX shows will consistently do 1.5 million to 3 million viewers per show regardless of who is fighting.

Because Eff Pandas' thread was about which service will be the new #1 source for boxing now that HBO is gone. If millions are watching boxing on Fox and thousands are watching boxing on DAZN, that would make Fox the leader in US boxing.

I disagree and I don't think you can judge it that way. So more people watch a standard fightcard on FOX but more people will watch Canelo on DAZN than on a SHO/FOX PPV.

Who produces the best fights is #1. SHO has produced the best fights the last few years and has rightly been #1 but with the money DAZN has they won't be able to compete IF these PPV's are not successful.

WBSS is only in quarterfinals. You just said 5000 people did care at least. Fox could make that much, but it depends. They're all competing with MMA, so it's more about scheduling than anything. PBC has the edge with their schedule shows, but DAZN fighters will fight more and there's more content. Most fans will have DAZN if they'd buy a FOX PPV. I would.
