    Thats a descent resume

And I dont believe it was because he was scared. It was because he could make big-BIG bucks fighting in England and suh. In America he would be a slight draw and thus make less money. It had nothing to do with being scared.

Eubanks and Brewer were beyound shot. In fact Eubanks never even won another fight again. Woodhall is garbage and Shieka is a clubfighter. His best wins were Lacy and Reid. And the Reid win was a split dec that many felt should of gone to Reid

Do you honestly think that Charles Brewer and Byron Mitchell were bums?

Mario Veit was supposed to be the next big thing in Germany, almost as hyped over there as Lacy was in America.

Sure, Calzaghe has had poor performances against Reid, Thornberry and Starie (boo'd out of the building against Reid and Starie, in a foreign country) but that's only because he was fighting with a broken left hand because he had no money and needed to put food on the plate. He eventually got his hand seen to after the boring as hell Starie fight and finally found some form again (against Sheika, Woodhall and Veit).

It's worth noting that Calzaghe was the favourite against Eubank, that's how good a prospect he was (even despite having his first 19 fights untelevised, when he was with Mickey Duff).

I never said Brewer and Mitchell were bums. But anybody with any boxing knowledge knows they were already shot. No longer in there prime. And what, just cuz Veit was hyped that means he was good? Veit was and still is garbage.

Scared of what? Calzaghe has been calling out Jones Jr for over 10 years, and calling out Hopkins for five years.

As for making big money in England, that is rubbish. Calzaghe is a nobody in England, nobody knows who he is. He's always been known in Wales, his home country, but even there he couldn't make much money because he simply has no charisma. He's no Eubank or Naz that's for sure, he's a shy guy and when he stunk the place out against Reid and Starie it did him no favours, and when he fought Eubank it was on Box Office in the early hours of the morning and only a matter of thousands got to see it (compare that to national audiences of upto 20 million watching Eubank and Benn in their pomp on terrestrial TV).
