Like i said anybody with boxing knowledge would know they were shot. Which is why you don't. Answer this, why is it Eubanks never won another fight again after fighting Calzaghe if he wasn't shot?
Look, what Calzaghe did to Eubank was something that nobody imagined could be done to Eubank. The way he knocked him from one side of the ring to the other and almost under the ropes with one 'slap' was insane, seeing as Eubank had never ever been floored cleanly in his life, and this was with the first punch Calzaghe threw! And to dominate Eubank like he did, slapping him around like a ragdoll, was damn impressive (to be doing it to Eubank of all people).
Brewer and Mitchell weren't shot when they fought Calzaghe, they'd just been ROBBED against Ottke.
Look, how does this shut us Americans up? What's with these UK vs USA threads? What's with all the ****iness? How about we shut you British up with Muhammad Ali? There's no need for racial hate around here. You can root for a specific boxer (and you should), argue why he's good and defend him against attacks by others, but you shouldn't involve race in your argument.
Will it shut JuyJuy up if an american says it's ok for Hatton to constantly put his opponent in an armlock with one of his arms, and attack his opponent with his free arm? It's gotta be bad when the girl who I was hanging out with for the Collazo fight, who doesnt EVEN WATCH boxing, asked me if me if it's legal for Hatton to continuously do that.

That's one out of 121 fights, and on a night he probably could barely tie his own laces due to carrying so much quickly-added muscle and unnecessary weight.

it was the same **** in the KT fight as well, although I was glad he was getting dirty when he fought Maussa.
Joe Calzaghe beat Byron Mitchell, Byron Mitchell beat Bruno Girard, Bruno Girard beat Lou Del Valle, and Lou Del Valle put Jones Jr on his ass.
This takes grasping at straws to a whole new level. You bring up olympic trials and amateur fights too as if it's something that holds lots of water when talking about boxing on a professional level.
Woodhall was real smart (as you could tell when listening to him as a pundit on BBC), good tactician, good technician, liked to work on the outside a lot and I suppose his chief weapon was his speed. What he lacked in natural talent, he made up for with training very hard and with his ring smarts. Guy was quality, even after the shoulder injury in early 96.
I remember the fight with Serwano (guy I thought Jones Jr had killed), Richie would land a right hand as Serwano would realise a punch and this went on and on every ****ing time until the referee just waved it off.. once Richie had found his range, he just punched with Serwano and his shot would get their first every time. That was sheer smarts in there.

I was just being a ****er, not using it as a serious argument.
RunWithKnives is obviously new to the game, and hasn't got a clue what he's talking about.
Anybody who followed boxing in the 80's will tell you that Roy Jones was never in the class of a Nunn at his best, Nunn was different class IMO. Even almost 10 years past Nunn's best, Jones didn't want nothing to do with him.
And unless you were hiding under a rock, you will know that the American's were obsessively calling for Jones V Benn (between the McClellan win and Malinga loss) even more so than Bowe V Lewis.
Jones was in a differnt class then nunn.
Jones vs Benn should have happened, but neither was going to go out of their way to fight each other.
Nigel had no problem coming to the US to fight Iran Barkley, but RJJ was a different story i guess.
