Juyjuy this thread makes no sense. Everyone respects Calzaghe, now, if they didn't before, even in the US. That includes US fans, boxers (most all of whom already respected him) and the US media (most of whom did not respect him).

Sure you have some racially biased guys like Bozo and Bloodshed who will always find something bad to say about Joe (or about Lacy, that's the other spin, guys trying to say Lacy was "green"- the most absurd notion I've ever heard when you're talking about a reigning world titlist who had like 250+ amateur bouts LOL).

And of course, Juyjuy, your words would mean a whole lot more if you hadn't picked Lacy to beat Joe, just like me and the rest of the US boxing fans.
