Both PBC (SHO-FOX) deals really don't kick off until the end of the year/beginning of next year.
showtime has never been dormant the last 4 months of the year. Wtf is wrong with u? Last year they had Benavidez-Gavril in Sept, Joshua-Takam in Oct, Charlo/Hurd tripleheader in November, Wilder-Stiverne 2 in December.

They always have at least 3 cards between Sept-December except this year.

its 12 showtime shows a year and 10 on fox. Smh.

The 30 shows a year is Top Eanks deal on Espn and ESPN+ along with 24 more international shows.

Sept 2017 Benavidez vs Gavril vacant wbc 168 championship
        Oct 2018 AJ-Takam heavyweight championship
        Nov 2018 Charlos/Hurd tripleheader championship

I think SHO is going to concentrate on minor cards on SHObox for the rest of the year since the remaining resources are going towards the Wilder/Fury PPV.

Do you care to provide a link in order to confirm your source about the 12 showtime dates; Because I've searched and haven't found one?

Return in January! Showtime Boxing not going away like HBO, I know SOME fans will start to root against Showtime particularly the DAZN/Eddie Hearn Groupies but they're backed by CBS and CBS/Showtime APP is doing GREAT and yes Boxing plays a part in that success

Could explain the sh#t fights that are being announce so far to save the bigger fights like Jermell Charlo vs Jarrett Hurd and others for Showtime. Boxing fans are never patient, leave it to us every big fight in boxing would happen all in 1 Day

No, Actually the PBC has a total of 22 fights on Fox and FS1. 10 championship level fights on the Fox television network and with at least another 12 shows on the FS1 cable television network.

I shouldn't say dormant but the last half of the year isn't as full as the first. Porter-Garcia is it other that Stevenson-Gvozdyk. And the PPV is taking away from possible other cards.

Last year there was 4 cards compared to 2 this year.

The new SHO deal which goes into effect calls for at least 1 PBC event per month. And the Fox deal will produce 26 cards a year between FOX-FS1.

But u guys left out Joshua-Takam.

As far as I can remember Espinoza has put on 1 card in Oct/Nov at least plus 1-2 in December.

Dropping to one card from mid September to at least mid January (at least a 4 month period) is a big cut in programming.

And remember Pac-Broner is sho ppv so showtime doesn’t do a card on 1/12 then the end of January is the soonest possible card.
No, it's not wrong. YOU are wrong. From September to the end of the year, they put on the October 14 card and then Wilder/Stiverne 2. The Joshua/Takam fight isn't something that was "forgotten," it was just an international fight picked up by SHO as they had a deal with Joshua. Guess what? Joshua has gone to DAZN. If he was still with SHO, then they would have shown that fight as well and ended up with the same amount of cards from September to the end of the year as they did last year. This year they went Garcia/Porter in September, and then will go with Stevenson/Gvozdyk on December 1 along with the Wilder PPV.

This isn't far off of what they did last year and the year prior. I believe in 2016 he only put on one card from September on along with the Joshua/Molina fight. And Espinoza as stated isn't afraid to let the world know this is what he always plans to do as he doesn't like to go against college football.

You tried to be slick with this thread and quickly realized you were wrong...again.
