The way he says things may be sometimes over the top but I challenge anyone to question the content of what he says. As a matter of fact I think our culture has become so pussified that even the way he says things isn’t an issue with me. Especially when I had a Drill Instructor barking down my neck for 13 weeks at Parris Island. The man is a walking encyclopedia of boxing knowledge and a good trainer to boot. He is the ONLY ONE begging Congress to investigate the corruption that is boxing yet no one has his backCan't believe you like this.
I'm a hardcore fan, will watch low budget **** too, but I can't stand Teddy. He's always yelling, always a bit of a maniac and seems unable to control himself a lot of the time. Was the only reason I stopped watching the show.
Get him off ESPN please, execs, I'm begging you.Comment

No one has his back because he cries robbery too many times. GGG losing vs Canelo wasn't robbery. It was close, so it couldn't have been. He later went on Joe Rogan podcast a few days later and said it wasn't a robbery, but he had to stick by his robbery claims because he needs to stand by his statements. The way he says things may be sometimes over the top but I challenge anyone to question the content of what he says. He's hurting the sport more crying about "robbery" brainwashing casuals, and deterring them from coming back. Think about it.
Also, I don't want a drill instructor type talking about boxing. I want dialogue with his peers using great insight and analysis in a controlled way. He sounds loud and drunk half the time.
I don't want shouting fool. Sorry, but was not my cup of tea and I decided to not tune in anymore.Comment

It's always been that way, mainly due to the holiday season.
That's why it doesn't make any sense signing up for subscription.
Just imagine getting only one fight when there are four Saturdays in a month.
Most times there's not even one.Comment

Moron alert. They won't be fighting for championships on SHO Championship Boxing. Get some comprehension skills idiota. I said the guys on SHOBOX are NOT part of PBC. Those guys will go on to other networks for the most partComment

wrong. The new fox deal is 10 Fox and 12 FS1 cards a year plus 12 SHO cards.I shouldn't say dormant but the last half of the year isn't as full as the first. Porter-Garcia is it other that Stevenson-Gvozdyk. And the PPV is taking away from possible other cards.
Last year there was 4 cards compared to 2 this year.
The new SHO deal which goes into effect calls for at least 1 PBC event per month. And the Fox deal will produce 26 cards a year between FOX-FS1.
The end of the year is usually busy. Sho Championship Boxing had cards every month end of last year so that is an incorrect statement.
I will agree that I believe all these PPVs show is about to put on aren't going to make enough revenue to pay for themselves so Showtime is putting part of their budget to help finance the ppvs. That is very bad for us fans because it takes away from our $10 a month Sho subscription we already pay for as they bank on the fact that they hope we can be suckered to pay that $10 then another $79.99 for PPVs that have a good main event and mismatches like Hurd, Ortiz, and Joyce filling out the card.
What happened is fights that aren't ppv worthy are too expensive for SHO Championship Boxing and they are splitting their budget between financing events and trying to recoup part of the money via ppvComment

Doing PPV's without PPV calibre fighters or fights isn't going to work out well. Especially when they are 3 months in a row. Only fight I envision doing >300k buys is Pac vs Broner.Comment

There was a tweet last week saying there wilp be 26 shows between FOX-FS1. But later in the year are usually light months.wrong. The new fox deal is 10 Fox and 12 FS1 cards a year plus 12 SHO cards.

Also, no way their PBC PPVs will be $80. If PPVs are what they're gonna be doin, they will lower the price. They'd have too. I wouldn't be surprised with a $39.99 price tag.Comment
