Do any of you slowboys know who I'm talking about?
Here's a couple of clues:
Jermall Charlo, WBC interim MW champion and mandatory challenger.
Canelo Alvarez, WBC MW champion.
If anything he should be saying keep our options open. Unlike pussie g Canelo has a excellent resume at 28.
Charlo smokes pussie g. You, me lil g and his team know that. Fuuck that pussie

Ward is a bad luck story made true. He sued his promoter and kept losing in court and then his one stroke of luck was his promoter died! So he got free. But then HBO stitched him up and said you're not disrupting our GGG project and by that stage it was obvious that 1/ Ward had trouble making 168 and 2/ both Canelo's and Golovkin's paths were going to mesh for a mega payout worth far more to all concerned than any Ward-Golovkin fight.

The obvious play is to sign with DAZN stay in the canelo sweepstakes and fight for one of their belts DAZN also throwing around the most money right now. But it's GGG who don't like tough fights so he will sign to ESPN and fight a bum not Charlo and not 1 of the title holders. LMAO

I do think Golovkin vs Jermall Charlo is a money fight. Fans are hungry for these types of fights. It's unfortunate that a promoter of a fighter who have been the constant topic of conversation don't see it that way. This fight could actually prove his star power and not depend on Canelo all the freaking time.
You're a promoter. You're supposed to promote fights. Fights that fans actually want.

Canelo is a bigger star now than then, as proven by his new deal. The WBC is not stripping him again and repeating that mistake and especially because Charlo has very little momentum at MW - much less than unified titlist GGG had back then.
if he marks nelo and ggg as ducks to mandated wbc fights in the same year that is a tell all.
