I don't need to name them, theres countless fighters out there who could've greatly improved his resume, its on him & his team to get them made. But hes happy feasting off cherries because he badly faltered when he did step up vs Trout. He could've found a way to fight Lara/Murata/Jacobs/or even lemule/Murray but instead hes happy getting overpaid by haymon & if he fought those guys he would've had to pay them well to make it worth their while.Comment

It's funny how the same posters who were calling Charlo the WBC mando when GGG had the title have now changed their minds about that!Comment

For once, I just so happen to agree with you. Charlo has no major belts, no fanbase or loyal following. He is just your typical high risk low reward fighter.
Moreover, he doesn't put meat in the seats as Canelo Alvarez and in addition, he is not a Pay per view draw either. In other words, outside of boxing circles he is an unknown.
This fight makes very little to no business sense for Team Golovkin whatsoever. They are in the business of making money and not losing money.Comment

The problem for Golovkin right now is winning and getting the win from the judges at his age.
Everyone with 2 eyes knows he won those fights against Canelo, knows Canelo is on the juice, yet, people and their hate on this site prefer to not be honorable in order to keep their own little agendas going on.
I think he should fight Charlo, Charlo is really a nobody who fights bums and is not proven in any way.
Triple g did not win the second fight. Canelo tapped his ass! If you feel Triple g won the first fight then fine. I won't dispute the first fight.
But he got beat the second fight in a close fight.
And are you fuccing ******??
You do know Canelo is doing VADA testing all year round right??Comment

If he did, Charlo would immediately become just another B level WW/SWW who Golovkin dragged up to 160 instead of daring to great.
As for the bolded, mmm .... now where have I heard that before?Comment

Golovkin says he's frustrated with Boxing being a business - and now He became part of that same problem, corrupted by the system.
If Golovkin doesn't give Charlo a shot, it takes quite a lot from his legacy - not in terms of wins and losses - but legacy of great champion who as long as He was competing - was willing to fight anyone and was all for boxing as a competition and sport, not business.
Charlo could have fought for any number of number one spots but choose the WBC because that's where the money fights are at so now he's stuck waiting on Canelo just like GGG was for a couple years.
Sucks but thats the buisness of boxing.Comment
