You got it backwards GGG promoter said because of the beating canelo gave him that GGG not fighting until 2019 so Charlo took a stay busy fight at the end of 2018 rather then sit out the rest of the year to wait on GGG decision. His fight doesn't impact his standing with the WBC. WBC is still enforcing GGG to fight Charlo in 2019. GGG is the one dragging his feet not telling the WBC what he will do and we all know it's because be going to duck Charlo

Hasn't Loeffler just said they ain't fighting Charlo though... that's the point of this article. And if the Sanctioning Troika dude is to be believed Golovkin told the WBC he wasn't fighting Charlo some time ago. The onus is now on the WBC to mandate Charlo vs Canelo.

Also, the WBC can't enforce **** unless you've got a title, and then all they can do is take it off you. Golovkin can do what he wants cos he ain't got a strap, and you think they're really gonna take that strap off Canelo?

You are probably right. However, Golovkin would have to be willing to take a huge and substantial pay cut in order to fight Charlo as compared to Canelo. For example, he grossed at least $25 mil in his last fight against Saul Alvarez.

For those who still can’t see or just refuse to be honest with themselves and others is this enough prof that they don’t want to fight JERMALL CHARLO? If he was overrated I didn’t at least pass the eye ball test everyone would be rushing to knock Charlo off. The Buzz around his name and the fact he’s a PBC Amerikkkan fighter, who’s an undefeated KO artist, tells me if he wasn’t the goods they would be jumping to fight him! So when Jermall Charlo fights Martin Murray because the WBC orders it, please STFU about "He needs to fight somebody" when those "somebodies" don't want to fight him. Why should GGG fight Charlo? There is nothing in it for him.

He has no title to lose if he turns it down and Canelo is going to fight whoever he wants to fight from now on!

For once, I just so happen to agree with you. Charlo has no major belts, no fanbase or loyal following. He is just your typical high risk low reward fighter.

Moreover, he doesn't put meat in the seats as Canelo Alvarez and in addition, he is not a Pay per view draw either. In other words, outside of boxing circles he is an unknown.

This fight makes very little to no business sense for Team Golovkin whatsoever. They are in the business of making money and not losing money.
