The response I saw you delete before I could reply to it? Clever.

Danny switched from PBC to HBO to try to get GGG and Canelo. Why in the world would Danny fight Charlo on HBO? You're making absolutely no sense. And worse, that's your proof that Jacobs doesn't get advice from Haymon anymore?!? Completely idiotic.

Haymon is a manager/adviser, not a promoter. He has a fiduciary duty to his fighters. 160 wasn't a weight class Haymon controlled. It was a weight class HBO controlled. The right thing for Danny's career at the time was to switch to the league that controlled the weight class he was in. Haymon wasn't going to stand in the way of that. He did right by his fighter and Espinoza did the right thing as well, by giving Danny the blessing to go cross the street to pursue the big fights in his division.

Danny insisted Haymon was still advising him and even proclaimed that Haymon would continue to advise him for the rest of his career. There is zero evidence that Haymon doesn't advise him anymore. The suckers in all of this have been HBO and Hearn. HBO because they overpaid for a fighter that doesn't draw and ended up pulling out of boxing. Hearn because he lost money on every single Jacobs fight.

If Jacobs crosses right back to PBC, Hearn and HBO look like absolute fools. I have no inside info on what Jacobs intends to do. PBC putting up a video about him does make me wonder if they think he's coming back. If Jacobs is hell bent on fighting Canelo though, he'll have to seriously consider signing with Golden Boy though.
Doesn't Haymon have that same fiduciary responsibility for Charlo? Shouldn't he be pushing Charlo to sign with GBP? Doesn't just apply to Jacobs

Also why do some of you flat out LIE and make things up that you know aren’t true all because you don’t like a certain fighter or promoter. You straight up told a bold faced lie. Your credibility around here is already shaky. You shouldn’t be making things up. Now it seems like you are the one who is a d1ckriser tbh

But whatever move Jacobs makes, his decision will involve powerful advisor, Al Haymon, the bulk of whom’s massive roster of fighters are mostly adhering to the three and four-year deals with Showtime and FOX.
“Al has been with Danny from Day One and totally and 100 percent involved in every decision that Danny and I make. I talk to Al probably five, six times a week. If things are hectic, it could be five, six times in a day. I sit down with Al the week of the fight, and I sit down with him after the fight,” said Connolly, of an 11-year association, to BoxingScene.com.
“Danny and I never make a decision without us talking it over with Al and checking on his insight. Al doesn’t do anything without me knowing about it and I don’t do anything without Al knowing about it. We always do what’s best for Danny as a team. Al and I usually agree on things 99.9 percent of the time. We never make any major decisions without both of us agreeing on it.”

When people say Jacobs is a FA, they are referring to network and not promotional FA correct? I don't think he leaves Hearn at all. Hearing his post fight conference he seemed to like working alongside Hearn. Really, to him it is important to get on DAZN to be a player for Canelo. I don't think he needs to sign with GBP.
u don’t make maje sense. If he isn’t a promotional FA how could he be a network FA? All Hearn American fighters are DAZN just like GBP fighters and just like TR fighters are ESPN.

There are rumors Jacobs deal with Matchroom expired after his fight Saturday. That is why people are saying he should go to GBP to secure at least one Canelo fight.

or that is what Haymon told Connolly to say. They do share a lot of fighters.

u don’t think Haymon may have told him to say that ? Isn’t the writer of the article the guy who writes for the pbc website? I am surprised boxingscene used an article from a promoter.

No, you don't make sense. How is he a promotional FA when he just fought for and won the title? His contract was just extended by two years!!!! Or wait, does it not apply here? What was his deal with Hearn in the first place? Was it just a three fight deal? Was it a two year deal? What was it? Obviously the reason he is a network FA is because HBO is out of business, but is he also a promotional FA? If so, he could just sign with GBP and get the Canelo fight.
