Lem isn't a spokesperson. He's a writer. He's written for Ring, he wrote for the Baltimore Sun for 20 years, he writes for the PBC website, he writes for BoxingScene, he's written for countless boxing sites. If you've never seen his name before, it shows you haven't been following boxing very long.

Mikey does fight by fight contracts. Okay? Your original point was that promotional contracts are like Haymon contracts when that isn't the case. Advisor contracts have different language than promotional deals. Haymon has contracts that extends contracts if the fighter is a top earner in his weight class as well. So are promotional deals like that too? Just because Haymon's contracts for some fighters extends by two years if they compete for a title doesn't necessarily mean it works the same way for promotional contracts. Could they be extended two years? Sure, but they can also be extended by two or three fights. You don't know how they work as it could be different for one fighter compared to another.

Keep fighting the good fight though, this has to be a first that a man on this site denies the quotes of a manager because the writer is a PBC employee.

I guess I won't believe any quote from Dan Rafael since he works for ESPN and ESPN pays TR to put shows on. Any quote from his article is going to be pushing some propaganda!
