Oh god, if that is your reasoning, I feel ****** for even giving you the benefit of the doubt that you may have had some logical reason I wasn't aware of.

Danny switched from PBC to HBO to try to get GGG and Canelo. Why in the world would Danny fight Charlo on HBO? You're making absolutely no sense. And worse, that's your proof that Jacobs doesn't get advice from Haymon anymore?!? Completely idiotic.

Haymon is a manager/adviser, not a promoter. He has a fiduciary duty to his fighters. 160 wasn't a weight class Haymon controlled. It was a weight class HBO controlled. The right thing for Danny's career at the time was to switch to the league that controlled the weight class he was in. Haymon wasn't going to stand in the way of that. He did right by his fighter and Espinoza did the right thing as well, by giving Danny the blessing to go cross the street to pursue the big fights in his division.

Danny insisted Haymon was still advising him and even proclaimed that Haymon would continue to advise him for the rest of his career. There is zero evidence that Haymon doesn't advise him anymore. The suckers in all of this have been HBO and Hearn. HBO because they overpaid for a fighter that doesn't draw and ended up pulling out of boxing. Hearn because he lost money on every single Jacobs fight.

If Jacobs crosses right back to PBC, Hearn and HBO look like absolute fools. I have no inside info on what Jacobs intends to do. PBC putting up a video about him does make me wonder if they think he's coming back. If Jacobs is hell bent on fighting Canelo though, he'll have to seriously consider signing with Golden Boy though.

Maybe. Maybe not. Staying with DAZN seems more likely than staying with Hearn. Golden Boy could easily take the position: sign with us and we guarantee you'll fight Canelo, don't sign with us and we guarantee you won't fight Canelo.

If they take that position, why would Jacobs resign with Hearn?

golden boy hasn't really ever had an opponent for canelo so thats not an issue. GGG x2, Khan, Chavez, Smith, Kirkland etc those aren't GBP fighters.

I notice you didn't reply to my other response to your other comment

England’s Eddie Hearn promotes Jacobs, whose three-fight contract with HBO expires after Saturday. It’s widely expected the Brooklynite will sign an exclusive deal with DAZN. Hearn, after all, is armed with millions of dollars and a bundle of dates from the streaming platform for his stable of fighters over the next two years.

When people say Jacobs is a FA, they are referring to network and not promotional FA correct? I don't think he leaves Hearn at all. Hearing his post fight conference he seemed to like working alongside Hearn. Really, to him it is important to get on DAZN to be a player for Canelo. I don't think he needs to sign with GBP.

You didn't answer the question. If Golden Boy gave Jacobs that ultimatum, why would he sign with Hearn over Golden Boy? Guaranteed Canelo fight vs. guarantee of never getting Canelo. They pulled the same thing on Mikey when he wanted to fight Cotto.

Still on PBC website and still promoted on YT page....
Haymon I’m pretty sure still handles them.

But saying that, apparently he is still technically with Haymon.

Obviously it is also clear Hearn is the main guy on his team now and he makes the call in what Jacobs does.
So basically Jacobs is giving money away to Haymon.

Daniel Jacobs wants Canelo Alvarez, Jermell Charlo or a rematch with Gennady Golovkin regardless of the network after Saturday’s split-decision over Sergiy Derevyanchenko earned the IBF’s vacant 160-pound title at New York’s Madison Square Garden, according to his manager, Keith Connolly.

Coppinger doesn't know the whole story but you do? I guess Connolly doesn't know the whole story either? Oh wait......

IF GBP gave him the ultimatum then yeah he should go to GBP. I doubt they do that though. They didn't do it to GGG who basically promotes himself.
