They used to count Povetkin as one if his elite wins and he never even fought the guy then AJ destroys him and Wilder fans claim he was an easy win, an aging bum etc while referencing the Ortiz win in the same sentence.....

Those particular names all came during the time when Povetkin was asking for more time to prepare for Wilder at a press conference for the Wach fight, forcing a purse bid, and when he pissed dirty for meldonium, and when he pissed dirty for ostarine.

Those processes take time. Wilder filled that time with vols while Povetkin, who has a career's worth of history of avoiding the title contention scene and fighting champion's leftovers before they plummet from the ranks to stay relevant, fought leftovers.

Clearly it was Wilder who was trying to keep Pov out not Povetkin doing what Povetkin has done for his entire career. No'sir, it's only true when Wlad's champion sir. When Wilder's champion it becomes untrue and Povetkin becomes this guy who has been biting at the bit to be champ for a decade and just always gets screwed...sure.

"But him won da court case doe" Yeah? Since when do courts take a man's livelihood from him based on hearsay? Never yeah? Okay, since when do any of the drug enforcement agencies to clinical or any trial to see the benefits of any drugs? Never as well yeah? So what happened to Povetkin is simply how it works. The agencies ban whatever drug is popular among athletes. That's it, popular, period and end of, no test, no research, popular. The agencies have money to hire experts but if the boxer has money to hire experts as well they will be able to ask whichever team's experts are on the stand to cut the bull**** and speak to what the science has proven. Lack of science is lack of evidence and lack of evidence is a case thrown out. Everyone who has the backing to fight the agencies get away with little to nothing. Those who do not have money or it is cheaper to just take the ban do not fight it.

Pov's a tinkerbell who was always scared of unbeaten HWs and the champion most of all. Did everything he could to avoid Wlad and still lost after Wlad was old. Did everything he could to avoid Wilder and still lost to Joshua. Takes advantage of the systems boxing has in place and seems to have a get out of jail free card for being called out on it.

When Povetkin asked publically for more time to prepare for Wilder authors from this website wrote articles blaming Wilder. Povetkin is the most protected and overrated HW the modern era has seen. It's never his fault he didn't make any fights worth a **** and fought almost exclusively other men's leftovers. Took two 0s in 12 years....but not his fault. Definitely Wilder's fault. I bet it was Wilder and Haymon who forced Pov out of the IBF mando in 08 as well.

That's a lie. Povetkin was the one stalling the fight. Povetkin defied the WBC order and took another fight instead of honoring the deadline for the fight, which delayed the fight even futher. You're blatantly lying.

Riiight...so then Wilder goes on to fight Ortiz and Fury, both took steroids too, no problem. That blows up your entire theory. Wilder is a bum beater and you guys need to stop making excuses for him.

I'd rather see him fight Whyte, Breazeale, Parker, Povetkin, AJ, and anyone else in the top ten. Hell, I'd settle for Chisora at this point but he will continue his parade of bums and his idiot fans will continue to cheer him on and yell bomsquad. It's ******ed. Wilder has fought 1 guy in the top 27 in the world....ONE. Ans he has had that belt for almost 4 years now

The **** are you talking about? Did Wilder sit on ass and wait for Ortiz to be ready or fight other people until Ortiz was ready? Did he sit on ass and wait for Fury or accept Fury while waiting on Joshua?

I gave you a detailed explanation as to why Wilder did not sit on ass not an explanation as to why Wilder did not fight Povetkin. Nowhere in my post do I talk about the WBC moving Pov from mando to elim nor do I talk about the WBC removing Pov from elim. Because I wasn't addressing why Pov-Wilder never happened I was addressing why Wilder fought the men he did during the time Povetkin was delaying the fight.

Jesus man, Povetkin asked the WBC for another Silver defense then when he was at a press conference for that WBC Silver title fight he announced he'd need more time than scheduled to prepare for the WBC World title fight. You don't need the two PEDs to prove Povetkin delayed the Wilder fight so Wilder fought other men. You don't need to take my word for it. Look up the WBC president explaining this. Look up the Pov-Wach press conferences. Povetkin publically requested more time. During that time that was granted to Povetkin Wilder chose not to simply sit on ass. Prior to the failed drugs. The man he fought because Povetkin could not come clean was Bermane after Povetkin failed a test for a fight against Bermane.

But yeah. I'm sure some how it's still Wilder's fault Povetkin requested and was granted a delay by the WBC.

Just to clarify for any third party reader what he is saying and what I said about the WBC Silver title defenses are not the same instance Povetkin delayed.

The Wach fight was not in defiance of the WBC. It was a sanctioned WBC Silver title defense. It did delay the Wilder fight though and after Povetkin did request another delay.

So as early as late 2015 Pov started delaying.

WBC WBA IBF is talking about after Povetkin fought Wach and the new deadline had been set and missed due to a failed test then missed again for an elim with Stiverne due to a second failed drug test for a different drug, that is when Povetkin defied the WBC and fought Johann.

Here's a screener for those who forgot. Povetkin was number one contender before Wilder fought Duhaupas.

Wilder only fought Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola, Washington, and Bermane again because Povetkin kept having issues with fighting Wilder.

Once cleared of Pov's **** he made a fight with Ortiz and Fury. It's very clear what went on and if you're not convinced by this situation explore Pov's history with Wlad. It's very similar.
