i have all hes fights on dvd and love nothing better than sitting back and watching the gatti fight. but i think its wrong the way most people bash him on here so i tend to stick up for the underdog

The UK fighters are generally lousy and that includes hatton. He has very limitied skills. The difference in skill between pbf and hatton is like night and day, and I do mean that literally and figuratively. There is no comparing the two. UK fans hate pbf just like mexican fans, because pbf is african-american. If he were white or mexican we would here how good he is, but because they don't produce fighters of that caliber they have to tear him down on a personal level. The drunkard hatton is due to get his if he keeps fighting in the US, that's why he don't want to fight pbf the GOD of boxing

This thread is such BULL****. No one hates Mayweather here. Everyone acknowledges how much of a skilled boxer he is. The only hate comes over from the Atlantic Sea and it's all towards British and European fighters.

Is it because he is constantly compared to Hatton? The reason I am sayin this is because everytime a pro Mayweather thread is started, the bashing starts with the UK members calling Mayweather a pu$$y and arguing about his p4p status. Why do you guys dislike him so much?

It's because of the geography of the sport. The only way Hatton can break through as one of the pre-eminent stars of the sport outside of the UK is by becoming an elite fighter, and fighting Mayweather would accomplish that. Being that Hatton's only answer for Mayweather's challenges has been a reluctant "someday", the only way the bloody wankers who sucj his **** can defeat Mayweather and the stigma attached to having their native son duck his greatest challenge is in the court of public opinion.
