People should listen better and understand what is being said. Abel did not believe GGG lost. He motivated GGG to do better in a close fight to make sure they win convincingly. He gave props to Canelo and did not bash him in defeat. None of that amounts to Abel admitting GGG legitimately lost. Abel can admit a superior fighter when there is one. See Gassiev vs Usyk. That was not the case with GGG.

I have my own eyes to evaluate the fight, I don't really need the list of boxers to tell me what to think. Lewis was just an example of an opposite opinion but even his view is not conclusive in the great scheme of things.

GGG fell victim to his reputation of a coming forward fighter. And when he boxed instead every "expert" interpreted that as weakness. Including Mayweather who could only come forward once in his career and didnt fight off the ropes. In a few rounds. Against Canelo. Only if reputation and typical style were a judging criteria..

What GGG does will never be enough to beat Canelo in Vegas. Even if he drops him, referee will count until 100. "Mississipi" count. Twice.

I respect Mexican fans more than any other boxing fans for this reason.

They can be homers like everyone else, but if they think you're a fraud, they'll call you out even if you're Mexican.

They know Canelo's record is fraudulent.

They know he shouldn't have gotten the cards he did against Mayweather, Trout, Lara, or GGG twice, and I've even seen a ton of Mexicans on Twitter who openly said they thought Canelo lost.

I've seen them call him out for ducking GGG 2 years ago.

They know he is a weight bully too.

They know he's a cheat as well. Juan Francisco Estrada just called him out the other day.

They have legitimate all-time greats in Chavez, Salvador Sanchez, Barrera, etc. . .

They don't have to act desperate like the Brits do with their guys.

Yeah JCC JR was the only name I used to hear in Mexico. They wanted him to do well. As for Canelo Im not sure how many people have him as their favourite fighter or would even call him likable. He can fight bout it. Sure can’t sell Tecate.

I noticed you threw old mosley, angulo and Kirkland in there as if you were impressed. And your bragging of him doing what no one else could seems a little fanboyish. Generous decisions from judges is no reason to celebrate. Jacobs fought ggg better than Canelo did either time.

You should choose your words more carefully, Jacobs backed up ggg in only 1 round while Canelo had ggg on his back foot or his bike for 9 rounds minimum and yet somehow you come to the conclusion that Jacobs did better than Canelo despite getting dropped and tagged up!

Look at ggg face post fight in Jacobs fight where he looks like he could go out on a date nite while look at ggg face post fight in the Canelo fight in the rematch!
