I have sinus problems (I'm not a boxer). Give me that same nasal spray, give me the test, and after I'm done with the 'prescription', lets see if I test positive for that said banned substance.

Like Victor Conte has said, failing tests when you know you are going to be tested is more of an IQ test than anything. Canelo consuming tainted meat when he knows it is tainted with Clenbuterol? Now Saunders taking nasal spray when he apparently "forgot" to look at the ingredients?

Two examples of either drug cheats or two guys that are dumber than a box of rocks. You pick. When multi-million dollar fights are on the line, I have absolutely no sympathy if they are fined, banned, etc. Whether it was on purpose or not.

Warren's statement says that he was within WADA rules, and that appears to be the case. But seems fisheyes is trying to pull a fast one with his wording because like you say he signed up to VADA testing which lists oxilofrine as a banned substance and doesn't allow for 'out of competition' positives for it like WADA guidelines.

He should be out of the fight and banned but not sure he will be. If it's down to the commission now then money likely talks.

The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission will hold a meeting on October 8 to decide whether to licence former British, Commonwealth and European champ Saunders.

Why are they gonna wait until 12 days before the fight to make a decision on that.. They should already have all the evidence they need to make a decision faster than that. Shouldn't they have a protocol in place to deal with these types of things already?

If he failed a test in August, that means there was a good possibility that the test was before the fight was offiicially announced (August 24). Shouldn't this stuff be sorted out before you go to announce a fight and release tickets to the public? Whenever I've done drug tests for jobs, you don't have to wait over a month to get the results.

I know there are at least 5-6 examples of athletes banned in other sports; cycling, track, baseball from the same drug. I believe WADA guidlines apply to athletes in all sports, unless you are a red haired mexican.

That's very good news. You don't reward bad behavior with good. The WBO should have be stripped his ass of that title by now. He's a drug cheat and a doper trying to get an unfair advantage over his opponents.

In addition, according to Victor Conte, that shit also makes you ******; Which accounts for all the crazy shit he has been caught doing in the news lately like soliciting **********s for drugs and having a man strip naked in his car.
