After watching Victor Conte's interview about this on YouTube I have changed my mind.

1: Saunders and Andrade signed up to Vada testing.
2: The substance BJS tested positive for is on the Vada banned substance list, in or out of competition.
3: Conte also said that it is 10x more potent than the substance Canelo tested positive for.
My original opinion was that he's a cheating bastard and should be stripped but now it appears to me that it's not a real PED what he took.

vada vs ukad testing, there's some differences...

He cheated and they should penalise him with suspension. The massachusetts sport athletic commission can only block bjs from getting a boxing license (in which case the fight will not go ahead) and he won't be able to defend his belt (and consequently get stripped by the wbo, for failing to meet the obligation). However I don't think they have the jurisdicional power to suspend him (as he is not licensed there yet, so they have not the power to do so I believe).

The BBBoC and UKAD are quoted in the Warren press release as him being cleared of any wrong doing (under their rules) Which doesn't necessarily have to be untrue, but for this fight other rules apply He is contracted by vada-testing under wada rules for this fight (and they are clear about it: it's a banned substance)

Warren knows that there are differences between UKAD and Wada. In fact, it's one of the reasons that Warren and GBP waived testing procedures all together for the Canelo-Smith fight - as there are many inconsistencies (and gbp perceived vada testing to be superior over ukad (and they have a case there, ukad testing procedures are not all that great and they are poorly funded as well, which means less thorough and less frequent testing)

Thanks for not putting up his record. Now I'll have to do ALL that research myself... 17 - 0 & 16 KOs but unsurprisingly never fought outside Africa. Height and reach: unknown.

There was always going to be 6 months between the two Golovkin fights so that was a bit pointless.
              Just saying
Canelo had his May fight cancelled in which he lost around 20m. So he did serve some time aka a 6 month suspension from the nsac.

It's on the Vada banned substance list. He agreed not to take anything on the Vada banned substance list when he signed for the fight.

Another good fight down the drain and for good reasons. Just say no to drugs.

Give him a six month suspension like they did Canelo then let him come back like nothing happened. That's how we handle these issues now right? Right O, case closed.

His May fight took place four months later in September. No different to a fight being postponed due to injury.
