Then why did he make a voluntary defense against the most avoided heavyweight in the world in his last fight?

    Let's look at AJ's two 2018 opponents.

Povetkin is #3 Boxrec and #5 TBRB. Parker is #10 Boxrec and #9 TBRB.

    Let's look at Wilder's two 2018 opponents.

Fury is #4 Boxrec and #8 TBRB. Ortiz is #7 Boxrec and #4 TBRB.

Boxrec average of 6.5 for AJ and TBRB average of 7 for AJ.

Boxrec average of 5.5 for Wilder and TBRB average of 6 for Wilder.

So whether you go by computers or the world's leading experts, either way, Wilder chose the tougher competition this year.

Which means you look like an absolute ****ing ****** when you say he's ducked all live bodies.

Both Povetkin and Parker were rank 3 with box rec and the ring at the time of the fight. Bellew was until a few days ago ahead of both fury and Ortiz in the live stats but move down to cruiserweight now of course.

But that also doesn’t take into context the fury position anyway - everybody knows he would be better having more fights. That isn’t to blame wilder that’s an opportunistic move in my view to take him while he’s a certain win.

CLearly wilder has a resume no where near AJ but none of this comparison to AJ has any bearing on the context of this thread and whether Whyte is being ducked though.

Wtf? Is this a Sillian Whype fan?

Wilder wanted AJ and said he would fight Whyte if they guaranteed that AJ would be next, as we all know Hearns once again protecting AJ by declining to that and only wanted Wilder to fight Whyte!

How can people forget this or is it Stockholm syndrome?

But the other poster said he's avoiding all live bodies. How can that be possible when he's taken on bigger challenges than any other heavyweight this year? No knock on AJ. AJ has a great resume. Better than Wilder. But to say Wilder hasn't faced any live bodies is a complete lie.

How can a champion duck a contender if that contender pulls out of a final eliminator?!?

I still don't understand how a rehab patient after almost 3 yrs was ranked #4, but that's that.
No matter how hard you try to cover it, Parker's fight was a unification which wilder with his 50mil couldn't make.

Ortiz is a HBP which every body is aware. Those are the kind of fighters wilder love to fight. Incomplete and unfit fighters with medical issues.

How are you so blind not to see this?

Has he fought any live body without medical or drug abuse opponent?

Parker can't fight in the US without Arum's permission and Arum wouldn't let him fight Wilder.

If Ortiz and Parker signed to fight tomorrow, Ortiz would be heavily favored.

You're entitled to your uneducated inexperienced amateur opinion, but the world's leading experts unanimously hold Ortiz in higher regard than Parker.

                Congratulations if you disagree.
