Juggernaut would retire Ortiz, no doubt.

Is Izu Ugonoh still signed to Haymon? That would be an entertaining fight.

Could be but they might catch one of them straight lefts and go to plan B. Id like to see either one.

Joyce called Ortiz out and then backtracked said he needs a few more fights. Ortiz will hurt that man.

Gerald Washington wouldn't be a bad fight. L's to Wilder & Big Baby. That Izu cat wouldn't be a bad fight either. Wonder if Adam K is ready for another hard fight after that harder than expected fight with Mr. Walk The Earth Like A Gawd.

LOL yea I wouldn't aim Joyce at that fight right now.

Adam K would seem like a good fight for Joyce of the better name, higher ranked PBC affiliated guys. I know they are trying to fast track him so they will be sh^tting or getting off the pot real soon so I suspect he could be on their short list.

I haven't seen anything about Joyce backtracking on Ortiz. Where did you get that info from?

Do you mean of the current top 5 or just a decent opponent in general? There are a full 2 months until that fight, plenty of time for a solid training camp.

Probably not. He wants to cash out on AJ but who knows when and if that fight happens. Until then, he's fighting guys like Tomasz Adamek. Nothing against Adamek and I know Ortiz is old too but Adamek is way further in his pro career and way past his prime.

It is on PPV so I expect it to be a decent name for sure but not Miller, Kownacki or Breazeale as Miller & Breazeale are close to title shots & Kownacki may need more time after his tough fight with Martin. I think it will have to be a fringe contender who is no longer in the top 10 but is willing to step in with Ortiz for the paycheck & the chance to stay in the HW landscape. My picks would be Duhaupas or Takam. Both guys will fight anyone & anywhere. I’d expect both to be tough fights for Ortiz but very winnable. I wonder if Oscar Rivas would take that fight?
