These people are total ******s. In one breath they say Eddie is a scammer for offering a fight on DAZN, another they say Joshua should hand over promotional rights to Wilder.

    You couldn’t make this up.

The fight is not a fight without Wilder.
Asking for a fair share of revenue should not be viewed as
trying to 'dictate terms'. That makes it sound like Joshua
should be insulted that somebody wants to be treated fairly.

"How dare he!" "My peer is asking me to treat him fairly, but
I WONT LET HIM DICTATE HOW I TREAT HIM!!!" "What Nerve!"
"Doesn't he know I'm Anthony Joshua!?!" "Be gone, peasant!"

That's my impression of Anthony Joshua at the negotiating table.

Exactly how did Mayweather and Showtime figure out how to broadcast a fight with Pacman and HBO....mystery abounds.

He actually never said that BT was the definitive backer...however he did indicate that they were interested. Nevertheless, money was real and Hearn confirmed it. Not sure why the need to argue that point.

Pacquiao and Mayweather were signed to the networks. Wilder wasn't signed to BT. Why would a guy that wants a fight go to the opponents rival network, where je knows the fighter will never fight on, to put it togather? Makes no sense.

My fault..wrong thread. For your education:

"I have sent three separate emails to Barry saying that I have no desire to meet with Barry unless I have a real offer for Wilder to meet Joshua," Finkel told Sky Sports.

"He and I have been in the business long enough to know what that offer would look like."

Hmmm maybe so that his opponent gets a guarantee $80M in Hope's to entice him to accept the fight and work the details out with his network. You're not using basic rationale. Prize fighting...fight for the biggest prize you can get...not that you deserve...but the biggest that they will pay for.

Did Team Wilder saying they wouldn't accept a flat fee back in August stop Hearn from sending a contract with a flat fee? Makes no sense right....

Every Joshua fight is worth more money if Wilder is still out there. Joshua gets more experience, Wilder gets older. If he fights Wilder and wins the other fights become anti climactic. It’s too bad they aren’t the same age. It’s just business. But it’s the lying about it that is annoying. But that’s promoting. I’d like see them gamble on the upside that it could be a two or three fight franchise.
