Eddie Hearn himself confirmed that the money was there. Because at first Hearn said it was a PR stunt and then he was shown that the offer was legit. Then it became a matter of location from there whether it would be in the UK or the US. Hearn wanted it in the UK but has later said it would be a big fight in the States. Hearn is the one flip flopping one minute to the next.Comment

No he didn't confirm the money was there. He confirmed the offer.Eddie Hearn himself confirmed that the money was there. It has now been revealed that Wilders team had Warren and BT sport involved in the offer. Hearn and Sky's rivals. That should confirm to any reasonable person the the offer was BS. Joshua was never going to fight on a rival to Sky, Sky would flatout not allow it.Comment

I asked you if it made sense....its basic logic. But you're talking about B sides dont get rematch clauses like that's some bylaw that must be followed at all cost. You sound fan boyish.B-sides don't get rematch clauses in unification fights. I thought you didn't care about money and just wanted to see the fight? If that was true you wouldn't be defending this.
You just did exactly what i said. So cut the "real fight fan" **** in future you're full of it.
Notice I'm not defending either side...just presenting what I view as logical. You...you're in full defense mode because you would rather craft an argument about how Wilder ducked or was greedy than to actually see the fight. It's why you argue against any principle that move the fight closer to being made. You and pillow fist. Oh he doesn't deserve this...who gives a rat's azz if it gets us the fight! Fanboys wanna argue for their guy...real fans just want to see the fights.Comment

You do realize that that the "reveal" came from Hearn who only knew this as part of confirmation that the money was real. Doesn't mean Hearn should have accepted it...just that it was real and substantiated. No he didn't confirm the money was there. He confirmed the offer.

You make no sense. I said they should negotiate now and agree to the fight before the orgs order mandotories, you argue not.I asked you if it made sense....its basic logic. I say Wilder shouldn't ask for rematch clause because it doesn't happen and it's another problem, you defend him.
YOU are the one looking like you don't want the fight Mr Real Fight Fan.Comment

Maybe Wilder is not 'pricing himself out',
maybe Joshua is undervaluing him.
Whatever the fight is worth, Wilder should receive a fair share.
Both Joshua and Wilder are now more famous than they
were when Joshua fought Klitschko, and a Wilder-Joshua
fight has been 'marinating' for a while now. It will generate
far more interest, particularly in North America, than
Joshua's fight with Klitschko did. Joshua needs Wilder if he
wants to break into the American PPV market.
Wilder may not be a proven PPV attraction in America, but
who else can Joshua generate that kind of interest against?
Joshua is an a-side in England, but a 'world champion'
should not just be fighting in his own backyard.
If Lucian Bute received flack for constantly defending his
title in Montreal, why shouldn't Joshua be held to the same
standard? Let Joshua come to Vegas. Why not?
They might even roll-out a red carpet for him and treat him
like the Queen.Comment

I would go a step further and say it won’t ever happen unless AJ loses an Edwards is ready to cash him out before then or he runs out of opponents!
Name me a fighter in history that would turn down 50 million dollars guaranteed plus money from the backend and then in a case of a rematch would make 30 million dollars or more!
That’s possibly 80 million for two fights!
Biggest duck in boxing history , Anthony “Aflac” Joshua is a certified coward, he says there’s enough money for everyone but bawks at Team Wilder wanting a fair percentage or even 50/50!
After Fury, I expect Wilder to fight each of AJ’s fans like AJ told them to since they have more confidence than Joshua does in himself!Comment
