Theyre not some cheeky upstarts, been going for 2 years already. Have 1.5million subscribers in Japan, made a $1.9billion deal for Japanese football.

Only way Hearn doesn't get through his full 8 years is if DAZN also fail, and I really don't think that's going to happen with the people involved at the higher levels.

the showtime/cbs banner is too strong for hearn to compete with in the US.....especially with an "app"....

spence was shown on the sideline of the cowboys on thanksgiving day on cbs.....what can hearn do for him?

Who protects the other guy from Hearn? He pays a side purse to keep the champion from getting his fair share. He imports 60 fight vets for his stars to shine. He drafts contracts that offer indentured servitude, multiple fights or no fight, and that's the bold type.

PBC might have a strong year in 2019 if the rumors are true that Haymon will have a new deal with Fox to replace the UFC. This would give his fighters another platform (along with the 3 years with Showtime) allowing them to fight more often.

I'm not trying to put money down on another streaming service lol. I wish it would at least stay to HBO, Showtime, and ESPN. Those three are solid in my opinion. A fourth one, however, with a $10+ tag on it just doesn't seem appealing to me right now.

I'm all about more boxing.. so naturally I want this to succeed.. but offering our champ 12.5 million.. for the biggest heavyweight fight in our lives, an losing damn near every purse bid, is not a good look if your looking to recruit American fighter's.
