If their stock falls the promoters kick them to the curb anyway.

Exactly. It's not like signing long term with a promoter guarantees a stable income if you start losing.

Fighters need to unionize and smarten each other up to stay free agents. Outside of maybe the novices who are starting out in their careers.

I don't see it doing well in the US...BUT Globally it is very possible if the get the rights to the popular sports in those countries

Only reason why I don't see it being big in the US because it currently doesn't have the rights to the most popular sports in the US which are NFL and NBA and they will likely never get the rights to big sports like that due to the fact that those Leagues have their own Apps and Streaming services/packages.

Boxing alone are NOT Popular enough here in the US to make a APP Successful and neither is Bellator which is looked at as the Minor Leagues to UFC in the MMA World

Good Luck to them I hope I'm wrong and for the sake of boxing (most importantly fighters who are not with GBP, Top Rank or PBC and don't get dates on ESPN or Showtime) that it becomes big or at least a big enough platform to have staying power. Even if it becomes big and successful ESPN/Disney would just acquirer it for Billions years from now

Despite the big talk, Hearn doesn’t have more money than the major players hear. But $1 billion does sound nice, doesn’t it?
This post isn't logical.Heath has signed 0-0 amateur champions to make them superstars.

DAZN are owned by Perform Group who are extremely rich. Whether they are richer than Showtime, ESPN, FOX and HBO is debatable. However, they have a much bigger boxing and marketing boxing budget.

Who protects the other guy from Hearn? He pays a side purse to keep the champion from getting his fair share. He imports 60 fight vets for his stars to shine. He drafts contracts that offer indentured servitude, multiple fights or no fight, and that's the bold type.

You don’t know that. It’s a two year deal and you have no clue what the escalators are what was given for the first year. But based on the contracts doled out and the amount of doors closing in Hearn’s face, the budget isn’t bigger at all.

Can’t be arsed with streaming boxing services or at the very least, having to pay for it.
Having said that, I remember being utterly opposed to Netflix once upon a time and now I think it’s the shįt. Let’s face it: streaming’s the way it’s going and so is DAZN so we’d better adapt or not bother watching (or illegally streaming *cough*)
