im not rooting for hearn to fail.....but hes not going to swim with that lineup...and i just cant see it getting any better....nobody is gonna sign to fight on dazn unless they are the hookers and andrades of the boxing world...the only names he will get will be ex names that are near the end.....i just dont see it working for him in the states
If he can guarantee your favourite fighters better monetary deals with their present promoters it’s not a bad thing. When is Charlo fighting? What about Spence? I would like to see them more often and getting paid. I don’t care if it’s Hearn, De la Hoya or Arum I just need to see them fight more often

So Hooker gets 1.2 million - pretty amazing for a fighter flying real low under the radar until he beat Flanagan. Just that one purse has justified his entire career. Not sure why eith ESPN of DAZN are so interetsed in this fight - it has "meh" written all over it

Hearn's comments are becoming as annoying as Amir Khan statements. I wonder what they have in common that they are so loud mouthed an obnoxious?

Of course it won’t but it will be fun to see these networks dip into their pockets to prevent the unthinkable

Same thing I was thinking... Just a little over a year ago Hooker was fighting in Tijuana for a few grand and now he's set to hit the lottery with 1.2 million for his next fight.
Good for him. As long he keeps holding onto that belt then he'll keep making decent pay days.
Once he loses he'll be right back to fighting for small purses so I hope he's smart with his money.

the showtime/cbs banner is too strong for hearn to compete with in the US.....especially with an "app"....

spence was shown on the sideline of the cowboys on thanksgiving day on cbs.....what can hearn do for him?

Because they have a lot of dates and no content. They sold the investors a dream and have to deliver. Those two are going to be fighting over scraps for a long time.

The limited amount of fights and fighters Hearn can sign means lots of mid-level U.S. cards in the future. Ditto Top Rank. Lots of slots, not enough talent. That also means more hyping of second-rate fighters....
