Because it literally came through a subpoena in regards to the investments made by those funds into Haymon's company Haymon Sports that handles the PBC brand, under the Haymon Holding.
Let's not go into ******ities here, please.Last edited by LacedUp; 09-05-2018, 01:06 AM.Comment

Report: New PBC, FOX Deal Finalized For FOX, FS1 Broadcasts
Al Haymon’s long-rumored new deal with FOX reportedly has been completed. According to a Ringtv.com story posted Tuesday, Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions has reached an agreement with FOX to televise PBC cards on FOX and FS1. The new commitment, which reportedly will include 10 shows on FOX and at least 12 additional FS1 telecasts, will go into effect in December.

Good luck to Hearn with that sh^t. I'm not sure who's out there to sign with HBO still paying Canelo & GGG. Bobby Arum having that nice ESPN money to pay his guys. And now Haymon/PBC gots some cash to pay those guys between the Fox & Showtime deals.
Who's the best unaffiliated guys (non-HBO/PBC/TR guys)? Is there a "flagship" guy to pick up??? I guess Usyk is pickupable maybe. I'm not sure his situation & the WBSS tournament really upped his profile quite a bit, but I still say its hard to push a non-American/non-Latino fighter in the US. Only Lennox Lewis, Manny & GGG have gotten THAT big in the last few decades.Comment

My whole point is that the PBC project failed, not that they can't put on a fight.September 4, 2018:

Would people care or notice if the PBC brand completely disappeared from the shows?Comment

If I was to plot out a year for him, hed want to try and get Pacquiao for a couple of fights. Sign Usyk, throw the bank at Ward to come out for a swansong. Get the Alvarez/Kovalev 2 fight for DAZN, sign Bivol, with Beterbiev got a couple of unifications. Jacobs/Derevyanchenko winner vs BJS/Andrade winner. Don't know what Golovkins situation with HBO should he win, what did HBO put up for his last fight $1.5m? Hearn would put up a ton more for a Golovkin fight, if possible.Good luck to Hearn with that sh^t. I'm not sure who's out there to sign with HBO still paying Canelo & GGG. Got headline fights for cards, has to concentrate on quality, buy up what he can from smaller promoters. Lets not forget, for arguments sake DAZN and Fox/Showtime are both putting up the same budget for the year. Except Hearn's is for 16 cards, PBC have to produce 50 cards on the same budget. Quality is the main thing for Hearn now.Comment
You don't have to be a genius to understand that buying airtime wasn't a great idea - and he pissed away an enormous amount of money, in order to get others out of the market. And he failed miserably as the competition grew stronger and the losses he took were astronomic, as was evident by the lack of airtime bought in the last two years compared to the first few years. If something works, you keep doing it - About the first thing you learn in business school is to double down on the winner.
