Yes I thought about that also and was hoping somebody would bring it up as that is relevant. With Showtime extending their content and FOX potentially signing a deal, there'll be more dates for PBC fighters.

I doubt this fixes the problem fully however, so there's still room for DAZN to scoop up some inactive guys. I think a lot of the previous inactivity was due to the huge stable and a period of transition where the PBC was trying to secure a deal from somebody while budgeting their cash.

This is what has happened, all the guys been told they dont need to leave got more money and lots of dates next year.

Not seen how much more money yet though, but Arum and Hearn are driving purses up, is the extra going to be enough. Doubt we'll find out until next year if its worked or not, whether we get half way through the year and all the dates have dried up again.

Matchroom has existed 50 times longer than PBC and is an infinitely more profitable business since PBC isn't profitable and MR are making multi-million dollar profits every year.
