HBO just needs to bow out. It was nice while it lasted and HBO basically WAS boxing when I was growing up. But they've neglected it in recent years and they are being left behind. Would rather they pack up their truck and let it die than continue their current meager existence.

They've still got Canelo in his prime and Golovkin. Your deluded if you think HBO will just hand them two over to Showtime.

It goes against the entire fabric of what HBO Stands for. HBO in my opinion, should just milk the Canelo PPV's as long as they possibly can, and then when he starts to decline, get the hell out.

What I've been saying for years is that HBO would get pushed out of boxing. Everyone said I was crazy, but I don't look crazy anymore. Every year that goes by, HBO Boxing grows closer and closer to extinction.

Their declining budget is a major factor. Or they would have got Joshua fights, offer SHO Fighters better deals like DAZN are doing.

They cut it, because they know after Mayweather-Pacquiao intrest has gone downhill in American Boxing

I suspect that Haymon's initial plan for PBC involved having fighters on HBO as well as Showtime and the free networks. To make it THE boxing brand and drive up the rights fee.

When HBO blocked Haymon fighters from their airwaves that ruined his idea somewhat. And it kept PBC from becoming as big as he thought it could.

hbo blocked themselves in. PBC didn't fit the hbo & espn agenda…….PBC better off than dealing with them fakes anyways.
