      Nahh stop right there that is not even true. The FDA has pretty tight regulations on pork now if you would had said a chicken coop then you are correct. The chicken coop is the dirtiest thing on the farm. Have you seen a chicken coop?

          I'm just saying what I saw. We went to a private pig farm in the eastern part of San Diego county to buy a pig to roast for July 4th 2015. Funny thing, everybody else ate the pig we bought. But not me.

          Also, private pig farmers (and there are a lot around here) often times will "fatten up" a pig by "double caging." They will put two pigs in cages, one above the other, and only feed the pig on top. The pig on the bottom with get bigger just by consuming the excrement of the pig above. Pigs don't digest food well and will often eat feces, particularly the feces from their babies.
