anyone raised in the city would never consider eating ****, since the **** in the city are extremely ******. But **** in the rural areas are probably cleaner than the fast food crap we eat.

Pidgeons are available in the gourmet section of grocery stores and are served in high end restaurants, nothing "exotic" or disgusting about pidgeons from a western perspective.
