I'm guessing if this goes in on November, then Spence vs Garcia goes on in December. And if this fight takes place on December, then the other fight goes on in November.
Boxing fans ready to pay for three PPVs the rest of the year?
A PPV in November, and a PPV in January, after not having to pay for a single PPV, outside of Mayweather-McGregor, for three years of great boxing, isn't a bad deal.

The only way that a lineage gets re-established, and this isn't something new, is to have a single champion being the only recognized champion, and that didn't happen since Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko weren't ever going to fight each other (even though it's pretty clear that Vitali would've won, imo).
Wladimir was the top heavyweight, but he was never lineal

Spence likely fights Danny Garcia December/January (possibly on PPV), and Mikey will likely have to take on a lesser fight in November/December (likely as the co-feature to Wilder) before trying to get the Lomachenko-Beltran winner in early 2019.

Wlad, re-established lineage in the division by beating Povetkin, who was the clear #2 at the time. Vitali had already retired if i recall correctly.
