  • More empty words from Fury but it's OK, boxing fans are the biggest morons in the world so they buy it. I bet Wilder knows nothing about this so called negotiations, it's all in Tyson head.

You can't sell that fight on PPV in the US without a build either.

The only real offer is $8 million for Whyte.
Fury looks competent in August (Showtime bought Hooker-Flanagan, so they could buy a Frampton/Fury twin bill), September gets out of the way (there's been next to zero actual anticipation for Alvarez-Golovkin 2, and it's almost August), and you've basically got from October through fight week for Wilder and Fury to hype the fight.

Given three months to themselves, you can't honestly think that they can't sell an event (Especially with both guys being engaging personalities, and Showtime's All Access cameras getting at least three 30-minute blocks to start to tell the story of the 'Gypsy King' and his path back)?

Making a voluntary defense on DAZN, against Dillian Whyte, is a waste of time

At least I can say that Team Wilder would do right by him. That's more than one can say about bitch ass Team Joshua who kept sabotaging the negotiations and talks for a deal to fight Deontay Wilder.

As far as the the $50 mil being unavailable that's a damned lie. Even Eddie Hearn confirmed that the funds were real, legitimate and available. They showed it to both him and Joshua's attorney. Just go YouTube it and if you can't do that or believe me, then I just might YouTube it myself and post it on here.
If team wilder have anything close to 50mil, they would have paid to unify with Parker.
How can a champ earning 1.5mil afford to pay another champ to unify?

        • I would love to see this fight get made.

Seferi, Pianeta, Wilder hardly seems like a gradual transition back to fighting but it'd be good to see.

Personally I think Fury needs a fight between Pianeta and Wilder against someone at least in the top 15 to be competitive - but if it gets made I'd love to see it anyway.

I can see there are still some boxing fans with brain. This is all smoke screen to feed fans who like to eat bs.

Exactly right! A win over Fury puts more money in Wilder's pocket against AJ for sure.

Please do post it, if you don't mind. I haven't seen it and would like to. It's obviously a lot harder to find videos when you don't know what the thumbnail looks like etc.

Then tell me why Wilder's team gave Hearn 24 hours to agree or there was no deal? What kind of business is ran like that? Also, again, where are the receipts? Proof of Funds. You are calling Hearn a liar, and then quoting him in the same sentence haahahahahha. Also, again, if Wilder's team has 50 million, then why does Wilder only get 1 million per fight? And are you really dumb enough to believe that Wilder has "a bag" of money laying around with 50 million in it? Hhahahahahahah

I think it will be a decent fight . As long as fury has a shed load of sparing he will merk wilder

                    Different league skills wise

Only concern is his two year coke binge

Finkel warned Matchroom Boxing and Eddie not to cross Wilder. He's moving on now with his career.

For the people who were asking what was Deontay Wilder's other options were well there you have it. A potential fight with Tyson Fury. From the looks of things, Hearn just might have to postpone that meeting with Team Wilder after all, which makes him the perfect failure
Tbh fury is potentially the biggest loser in all of this. If he loses this it could cost him about 20 mil. Good news for Wilder as he could reasonably command up to 40% but it will be worth it as it increases the value in the fight.

It’s funny seeing posters previously rubbish the idea of aj fury happening anytime soon in favour of this though
