Comments Thread For: Fury Confirms Negotiations With Wilder For December Fight

Tyson Fury (26-0, 19 KOs) has confirmed that his team are in negotiations to agree a fight against WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs). The ‘Gypsy King’ is deep into preparations for his second comeback fight, following a two-and-a-half-year absence from the sport, against Francesco Pianeta on August 18 at Windsor Park, Belfast.

Wilder knocks this **** out. Which is good because it will give him a good name on his resume and more pulling power in negotiations with Hearn.

I just hope all the hardcore AJ fans don't start saying that Fury was a washed up bum... He's got a fight in August and then a further 3/4 months to prepare. That's two more cycles of clenbutrol to get the weight off... But we won't talk about his previous drugs ban, we'll just say that it's ******* and depression.

Sorry for going off on a tangent... If this fight happens (I don't think it will) Wilder annihilates this **** early.

It would be a big one in the UK. Smart move from all parties involved if this is true.

I just wanna see a good fight with two guys who aren't afraid of putting it on the line.

With these two, you know you will get that.

In my book, the winner of this is the real champ.

Tactical move by team Wilder. A win definitely puts pressure on Hearn to give him a percentage.

Fury wanted 60:40 for AJ , he'll be expecting 50 million.

Fury needs at least one competitive fight just someone low top 15 would do otherwise its a bit of a joke.

Planned PR move by finkle and warren, they've known each other decades and have good relations. Warrens doing it to spite eddie as hes just had a great show on weekend and wants less people talking about it and finkle doing it for better deal. Neither wilder or fury would risk fighting each other and losing before AJ payday.
