Gerald Washington was undefeated, Deontay ruined him ; Washington took a hell of a beating vs. 'Big-Baby' Miller, Jerell said he couldnt believe how Washington endured so much and was hoping the ref would stop the fight.

Chris Arreola had a hell of a chin as a HW, took all Vitali had and never went down, Vitali Klitschko as I noted is one of the greatest punchers in the HW division, Arreola went up against hard-hitting Seth Mitchell, got him out of there ; took on Bermane Stiverne in his prime, fought the man twice before finally getting legit stopped.

Bermane Stiverne had one bogus stoppage in his record vs. Demetrius King ( watch the fight ) before Wilder knocked him out cold -- in there first encountered Deontay had pins inserted in his hand and fractured his right hand, thats the reason Bermane went the distance.

Malik Scott beat the count vs. Dereck Chisora ( again watch the fight ) the UK ref Phil Edwards is proven to be horrible and corrupt ; you may know this but Malik Scott went the distance with Luis Ortiz, but the 'Bronze-Bomber' knocked him out in the first round!

Wow...you are making me right a lot -- yeah...I'm just going to stop at Luis Ortiz, Deontay destroyed the 'Boogeyman' that Joshua and Eddie fled from.

Sorry for any spelling errors, its late I'm tired.
Johann I will give you that he has a great chin I stand corrected although it took him to the 11th I think to get him out of there and he looked horrible but it’s power we are talking about and he stopped a resilient chin.

Malik vs Ortiz I watched that fight live and I have never in my life seen a guy that weighs over 215lbs run so much in my life

This post has nothing to do with AJ because Wilder has been professional longer but can anyone give me a genuine reason why he hasn't fought more than 1 tough fight in his whole career? How can you be a heavyweight champion of the world and not fight top contenders?

The reason is that he is being protected by his handlers surely? He hasn't even stepped up to Chisora like level of opponents, I cannot name more than 5 Wilder opponents off the top of my head, seriously.
He wanted to kick Anthony Joshua's ass but Rob McCracken and Eddie Hearn won't let him. He would have been knock out victim #40 on September 22 in England at Wembley. I am not saying something that is new. Eddie Hearn knew it all along that's why he deliberately avoided Wilder by pushing back the fight as far as possible. He was protecting Joshua from an ass whooping that would surely to have come. No I take that back. That's right. Wilder doesn't dish out ass-whoopings, he only knocks opponents out.

Its hard to judge given Wilders level of opposition. I would argue that Tyson, Foreman and Shavers where bigger hitters.

“I used to feel the most technically sound boxer in the heavyweight division was ‘King Kong’, Luis Ortiz." - Nazzim Richardson

Coach wasn't the only one who felt that! I wish Ortiz wouldn't have stepped aside so Wlad could fight Joshua! I think he would've beaten Wlad, especially with Wlad coming off a long layoff!

People forget Deontay didn't start boxing until very late, which is why he's so wild and reckless:

          June 14, 2015:

As a young boy, Wilder was torn between basketball and football. He chose the pigskin and wanted to embark on a path to the NFL. He enrolled at Shelton State Junior College in Tuscaloosa with the goal of playing major Division I college football.

The path ended when his daughter Naieya was born on March 20, 2005 and boxing entered his mind.

"I was a fan of boxing growing up," Wilder said. "I loved it growing up. I loved to watch it. Boxing didn't come until later on. I went to college and had my daughter. When I had her, it changed my life forever and my career. This is how I got into boxing and here I am now..."

Wilder, who was 19 years old when everything was happening with Naieya, really didn't know what boxing was. He would watch certain fighters with his friends on television, but when Wilder decided he was going to give it a go, he realized he had found his calling...

After only 20 amateur fights, Wilder won the Olympic trials and qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. He won the bronze medal and was the only American to medal. When the Games commenced, Wilder turned professional and off he went.

I was solidly behind Joshua beating him until I saw the Ortiz fight. Not only do I give Wilder a chance to beat Joshua, I flat out think he will.

I'm also starting to think after the Ortiz fight, Hearn made a concious decision to keep Joshua away from Wilder for as long as he can.
Hearn definitely wanted to keep Joshua away from Ortiz! That's for sure!

I agree. Foreman could knock down walls! Absolute boogeyman in his prime, imagine him hitting any of the current heavyweight with those hooks and bodyshots... wow

AJ is doing every possible thing he can to keep from entering the ring with Wilder. Fifty million dollars guaranteed, and AJ won't sign. Only an imbecile or partisan would blame Wilder. Fact: AJ and his team are running scared from the knockout artist known as Deontay Wilder, and they will continue to do so throughout 2019. AJ is not now nor ever will be up to the task of defeating prime Deontay Wilder.
You may feel you are right in all of your points and I we would probably start a verbal spat if I dissected what you are saying but the only fact that can not be contested is there is a contract signed by Joshua waiting for Wilders ink. If he signs Joshua has to fight him. Joshua can not run , Hearn can not talk his way out of it . Wilders signs ,fight is locked in. We can go back in time and talk about the 50 million which I do actually agree with most Wilder fans to be fair but as it stands there is an opportunity to stop the gravy train and turn Wilder into a superstar. Take 15 million prove to yourself what your fans already know and that is the last time you bend for anyone in your life. However I get it Joshua is a coward and we want 50 /50 for all the stress I have gone through negotiating the fight and all the 1000’s of fans I have gained during this tumultuous period
