No one can sign a contract like that without exercising their due diligence. When Eddie Hearn omitted key logistical aspects of the contract, Team Wilder knew instantly, that they were being scammed and the public too. They are no fools.

Matchroom Boxing couldn't give definitive answers like dates and venue; For Example Like: "Hey Eddie when is the fight?" "Um maybe October or November" because they couldn't write that language in the contract because there would have been a breach had they done so because it was a lie. They knew they weren't going to fight Wilder at all this year. You are intelligent guy. You know I'm telling the truth.

Their plan all along was to set the bout for April 13, 2019 which would have not been a problem if only their lying goddamned asses had the courage to even admit it. That's why I don't blame Deontay Wilder for being pissed off and not signing a goddamned thing because no one likes being hustled or scammed and neither do I.
Yet you expected Joshua to sign on a $50 million contract without any terms, any details, with Wilder and Finkel refusing to meet with Hearn to even discuss it?

And if Finkel and Wilder were so aggrieved by key details missing in the contract, why didn’t they refer back to matchroom, instead of procrastinating and posturing (as Noelanthony described it). They knew Matchroom was under pressure by the WBA, yet they ****ed about.

Noelanthony has hit the nail on the head with his post. It would help if you took off the Wilder shades too. Neither side was totally serious about making this happen from the off.

The way I see it, Hearn is happy to wait- Joshua has another one or two big fights he can make in the meantime, so if Wilder’s team want to play games, we’ll chuck them a low-ball offer and leave it up to them. Wilder needs AJ. AJ doesn’t need Wilder, not yet. Without AJ, Wilder goes back to fighting bums in Alabama. Hearn is in control, he can leave Wilder in the wilderness and he’s enjoying it. Shades of Mayweather in the negotiations.

Wilder’s team are (rightfully) annoyed by the low offer and games by Hearn, so they play games too, by making ridiculous offers which have no context or backbone, just to create social media buzz, and by then ****ing about when they did have a realistic offer on the table.

Only the most hardcore, fact-twisting moron can think one side is totally to blame in all this and the other side is completely innocent. Both sides have mucked about and butted heads.

Both sides want the fight, I believe both would have taken it next, but Hearn is the one who is probably happier to delay, knowing he has at least one other bumper payday he can reap beforehand.

Wilder’s team on the other hand just can’t get out of their own way. Hearn is right when he says he’s not being promoted properly. His team have made bad decision after bad decision, which is why he’s fought 1 decent (but totally unproven) fighter in 40 fights, he’s never fought anyone relevant, it’s why there are usually more people lining up waiting for their orders at the nearest KFC than there are at his fights, and why nobody knows, or even cares, who he is.

I get the ‘Parker had xxx split so Wilder needs more’ argument, but Parker was a bigger name in his home country for sure. Parker actually brought something to the table. And to be honest, he probably ended up with less than $15 million after the split.

Discussing boxing with them is another struggle altogether , almost as bad as here . lol
The fact that you agreed with that racist junk explains your perspective on Wilder.

Many have explained why they believe Wilder wins in boxing terms. You choose not to respond them. You also choose not to respond to UK fans who don't hold your disdain for Wilder.

Wtf! How can you say I don't belong here.. when the fight hasn't even happened yet??..and we don't even know who's right yet? It's a larger market over here.. I think that fight pulls casuals in as well.. which is why I believe our numbers will be superior.

This wouldn't be exactly true bc if Wilder wins then Hearn makes even more money on the rematch which would be massive , the only way it actually gets a 100 Million fight is a Wilder win .

If Hearn was afraid of NOT getting the most money he wouldn't risk a Povetkin fight .....

They dont even initiate a fight offer to Wilder months ago if Hearn was afraid of losing money .

Joshua will rake in cash no matter who he fights with or without belts .

Of course he sees a Wilder U.S fight riskier but hes goinfg to make him earn it by actually defeating Joshua .

As long as Parker likes Wilder, do we really care what Parker’s promoter thinks?
