You think that 1.5 + million americans are going to spend 80 dollars or more on a ppv for two guys who arent currently marketable in the US to the majority of the buying audience ( casuals ) and have never sold a US TV PPV between them ?

    OK then...

We don't know what Wilder's biggest paycheck is. Just because they submit paperwork on purses does not mean that includes every cent he makes from a fight. We as fans have no idea the full financial breakdown of events, what the arena kicks in, what sponsors, etc pay these guys out. Guys like Hearn and ODL negotiate the rematch clause before the first fight even takes place. He wouldn't be offered 50/50 in a rematch even if he won the fight. For a classic example see the breakdown for the golovkin and canelo rematch.

How is Wilder pricing himself out when AJ is the one who asked for 50m!! Parker got 35% so stfu!!! But Wilder gets a Flat fee? Get the f uck outta here!!!
It's nothing more than delusional to think more Americans will buy the PPV over Brits. Wilder gets about 1 mill watching on basic cable, but when they go to PPV the viewer numbers drop by some margin. The same will happen here.

Wilder is a nobody who can't get anywhere near to 15 mill a fight, nor can he fight anyone else on PPV. The only fight he can do that, is with Joshua. Because he's the one who brings all the interest, not Wilder.

The fight is there for him in April if he wants it. If he doesn't, let him fight his bums in unsold arenas for a pittance. It's his choice. Joshua is not some sort of charity case who pays nobodies the kind of money they haven't earned and don't deserve.

Parker never fought on premium cable let alone basic, he fought on either Kiwi tv land or on Youtube streaming!

Comparing negotiations between Wilder and Parker vs Joshua and the circumstances specifically is absolute madness!

AJ knew he could beat a much smaller man who has no punching power while vs Wilder he deep down knows its a extremely dangerous risk of being brutally knocked out!

Wilder is getting closer and closer to selling out Barclay's and has routinely entertained one of the most notoriously hard to please crowds in arena sports!
Parker got the fight because it was a unification. Pretty simple to understand that.

The Ruiz fight was close, But Parker definitely won it. Ruiz just wasn't active enough.

Parker fights on PPV in New Zealand.

Parker got the fight with Joshua because he was reasonable in negotiations. Wilder back then, just as he wants now, wanted 50/50 split. Which is beyond madness. But you're American, so it's not a surprise you're talking mad ****. Just like most of you do. Wilder wasn't, and isn't going to get anywhere near to that kind of deal.

Wilder is getting closer and closer to selling out his first arena? Haha, who gives a ****. Wilder not selling out ever shows the true interest in him. Which is hardly any at all.

That's why they kept fucking with the contract without giving any specifics or definitive answers to the logistics of the contract. They were bluffing all along and the more Team Wilder kept calling their bluff the more they kept moving the goal post; Especially after Deontay Wilder had agreed to all of the terms of the contract with more bullshit lies after bullshit lies.

First, with Joshua can't fight at Wembley in September because of GGG/Canelo, But now he is fighting Povetkin in the same month at Wembley, Secondly Joshua needs a 12 week training camp because 8 weeks is not enough for a fight of this magnitude but yet he is training for Povetkin on just your typical 8 week training camp and lastly, the WBA has ordered a 24 hour deadline to finalize a Povetkin/Joshua bout that took another three weeks to finalize which was another goddamned lie.

It's just more stalling and excuse after excuse from Team Joshua. They never wanted this fight so soon. They felt pressured into a face saving posture to make it happen in order to appease the fans. They always wanted to push this bout back as far as possible.

If I was Deontay Wilder I was just say to Hell with them and that them and their mothers could both kiss his Black ass.
You're delusional. Hearn wanted it in Oct or Nov. Due to the WBA looking over his shoulder he needed to move fast, so guaranteeing date and venue was secondary to getting Wilder to sign. The date and venue would have come AFTER the contract being signed.

We've actually moved beyond the 50 mill offer. Joshua being the A side chose to fight at home, which is his right. Wilder has to make do or move along.
