How much do you think Golovkin was paid in the first fight?
It seems like you have arbitrarily claimed that Golovkin was a much bigger name even though in comparison his purses and ratings were the same if not lower.

To say a champion shouldn't get a percentage for a unification is laughable. No one questions whether Joshua is the A side, but a percentage split is how you give a fighter what he is worth. Why? So that he gets his due ig the fight exceeds expectations.

Wilder is offered a shot at 4 titles, plus $15 million.
      He says no.
      Unbelievable greed.
      Or it may be fear.
Was Brook Porter on PPV? Nope. Fixed purses based on projected revenue. All it takes is a percentage split and the fight gets made easy. 35%

There is very little fact in what you’ve posted from what I can see. It’s mainly your belief shaped to suit your fighter.

If that’s what you think then fine. But don’t jump in here and start claiming that’s what happened and it’s *fact*.
Ok, my apologies. I stand corrected. That was opinion and not fact. Well just judging by the evidence, a reasonable person can deduce that Anthony Joshua and Matchroom Boxing didn't want this fight next or this year or at all.

I say that with conviction because Team Wilder did everything humanly possible to get this fight done for the fans this year. He was willing to take less money, travel abroad, to fight on foreign soil and yet he was still denied.

Therefore, it's unquestionably the belief of many; Including myself like: Lennox Lewis, Tyson Fury, Evander Holyfield, Joseph Parker, his manager, TMZ, Showtime, Luis Ortiz and host of other boxing experts, fans, athletes, legends even his own fans and countrymen also.

So, I am not alone in that assessment.

Golovkin was basically the undisputed champion. He's well ahead of Wilder in every way.

Did Floyd give title holders a percentage of the money? Did Oscar? Did Tyson? No, they didn't. Joshua is a huge A side while Wilder is a weak B side. You don't give percentages to fighters like that. It does make any sense.

How much did Golovkin make in the first Canelo fight?

So keep your unicorns and dragons. They might be needed to help fill the extra 10,000 seats Joshua is gonna have on April 13th when he fights Whyte again.

come on man. stop trying to rehash points that have been confirmed. its not a rumour. again, finkel had an email stating that the fight will be next. in the interview in this video, he says it at the 45 sec. point, and the 2.25 minute mark.

The Ruiz fight was close, But Parker definitely won it. Ruiz just wasn't active enough.

Parker fights on PPV in New Zealand.

Parker got the fight with Joshua because he was reasonable in negotiations. Wilder back then, just as he wants now, wanted 50/50 split. Which is beyond madness. But you're American, so it's not a surprise you're talking mad ****. Just like most of you do. Wilder wasn't, and isn't going to get anywhere near to that kind of deal.

Wilder is getting closer and closer to selling out his first arena? Haha, who gives a ****. Wilder not selling out ever shows the true interest in him. Which is hardly any at all.
An AJ homer ***** donor, i won't waste my time with you!

Your known for defending everything AJ does or ignore the lies and contradictions he and Edwards Hearns spew to fit your pro AJ cheerleading agenda!

You call Wilder unreasonable yet Wilder had 50 million that AJ asked for but like a true coward he renigged on his own demand!

New Zealand ppv? Lmao go away AJ ball sucker, your hero told you to get ready to train and fight Wilder yourselves!

Do what your master says and get to training!

well makes sense to everyone bar the fans... id prefer to see them in 2018 while both are running hot.

Yeah I think the issues with “fans” is one they want to see the fight now! Then we have no patience, if they didn’t hype or build this fight then they wouldn’t generate what they would generate from it when it happens, sometime we are too spoilt. Look how good fights happens and we barely talk about it because those fights were signed without any fanfare. The more they portray how this fight isn’t going to happen the more the fans want it to happen. And once they “agree” the fight and sign then they can use the hype to charge whatever price they want to charge.

                      Point was,
when you're the B-side you don't count how much money the A-side will make.
You won't care whether it's PPV, will make billion dollars, etc.
You should only care about gaining 4 titles,
                      becoming king of the division,
then the $$$$$$$$ will come later.
Otherwise, you'll look greedy as f#k and it's not the titles you're after.
even after saying it's not about the money from day one.
                      I WANT JOSHUA NOW!!!!
Kills me with this Wilder clown.
It's as if it's his last fight and retire after.
